Report change of address

Featured Replies

What do I need to do to change my address from loiet to Bangkok immigration for 90 day report.

You would complete a TM28 form and have proof of your residence in Bangkok.

And WHERE shall it be done Joe? in Loei (loiet?) or in Bangkok??

In Bangkok of course.

No need to notify the office you will no longer be going to.

Thanks Joe. Is it pretty painless?  And would a true visions bill with my name on it do the trick?

Each time I've gone to an IO with TM28, they have told me don't bother until next 90 day report is due. Yes, I know that's not strictly in accordance with laws but I thought I'd mention it, incase your told the same.

Yes Dilligad that was.mentioned to me before. Hard to know when every office works from different rules. Was a bill enough to prove address?

But was that a move to a new province?

That why specifying what IO's you are talking about is so much more meaningful. It's legend that IO dealings in Thailand are a bit of a lottery but information posted on TV immigration doesn't need to be so nebulous does it?

Not sure.

They might want a rental agreement.

A copy of her house book and ID card will suffice.

Yes and no, Joe. I have moved many times in both Surin & Sisaket provinces. I remember one time they (SSK Imm) took my little piece of paper with new address on it and punched it straight 'into computer system'. Job done. great!!!!
