webfact Posted June 29, 2017 Share Posted June 29, 2017 One killed, 4 injured in student violence By Thai PBS Reporters BANGKOK: -- One technical college student was fatally injured and four others wounded in a renewed student violence in Nonthaburi province on Thursday. The incident, the worst in this new educational semester, occurred in front of a market near Major Department Store in Nonthaburi. According to eyewitnesses, a group of technical students from Bangplad area was seen waving their hands on the roadside for their rivals from Dusit who were riding pass in motorcycles in a defiant manner. Their defiant manner enraged the rival students on the motorcycles who returned shortly afterwards with knives, swords in hands. Hope they were all arrested and the weapons taken away for good. Nice to think of what the next generation in Thailand will be like.
