Only an utter idiot would try to pass of fake currency in a bank?

Before the usual bashing may start here, perhaps explore the fact that maybe the Uzbeki was himself ripped of someplace else when buying the US$?..

After all the U$ dollar is anongst the most counterfeited bill in the world!!

This could happen to you...assuming one day, a scammer gives you bogus bills as change, or even in a bank?...how will you prove you are innocent if straighforwardly you are declared guilty in possessing the bogus bills?...disturbing....

Obviously the above post by Observer isnt very observant.  Look at the picture and you will see sheets of money, thats not how it comes out of a bank, is it ? Or given in change.

I would think the A4 sheets on the table are photocopies of the fake notes.... the guy in the white shirt seems to have his mits on the real fake deal.

But i see pointing here.... so that comforting tradition continues. ?

Interesting theory...but they would have made close up's of the money sheets in the pics in the press article, had you taken a bit of time looking more in depth, dear fellow!!....

I think as suggested by farcanell, they are photocopies of the fakes,  for the suspect to sign so that there is no challenging later on in court.

But carry on the good work...you'll get your photographic scoop :cheesy:

Just get them from an ATM, at least in Cambodia, and let the machine print a receipt slip.

Those "Poss" copies? a bit too uniformly laid out. Looks more like his printouts.

.......well, if the U.S. insists on printing all it's currency notes the same colour and the exact same size.......

And I find that quite annoying. Easy to hand over the wrong value of note than planned.

A person from Uzbekistan is correctly referred to as an Uzbek, not an Uzbekistani.

I know English is tricky, but it wouldn't do to refer to someone from Switzerland as a Switzerlander, would it?

so be it...then where was his paper cutter to cut the currency?...would you think that he used his used gilette blades to do so?

Sorry, but you are totally wrong.

An Uzbek is referred to the mixed tribal ethnicities in Uzbekistan....not to their nationals.

Uzbekistani refers as a national of the country..

just as  it wouldn't do to refer someone from Pakistan as a Paki, would it?

English is not that tricky...humans are more tricky!
