  4. Automated external defibrillators are relatively cheap and could save lives. Why are they not supplied to the life guards or at least to the ambulances and paramedics ?

  12. I agree that the chances of resuscitating someone in cardiac arrest are slim. A slim chance is better than no chance.
  13. Without AEDs on the emergency vehicles that attend the drownings they are only acting as meat wagons to collect the dead bodies.
  14. When the rescuers arrived did they have the right equipment to resuscitate the victims ? Portable AED machines are vital but it seems they are not carried on the emergency vehicles.
  15. You don't get a lot for 15,000 baht. I hope the company has deep pockets.
