  1. The Singapore based part of their business is ceasing. Jetstar otherwise the same. So still flights from Australia to Thailand direct the same as before.
  2. It's Owl Sees All. Top bloke. Not sure what got him into this whole virus thing though.
  3. It was an attempt at humour. I know Pfizer for you guys is like garlic to a vampire.
  4. When my parent went into a nursing home you realise there's this whole world of people who you don't often see. There's old and then there's nursing home old.
  5. You would like to think this is something we can all agree on - Asean Now posters of all political persuasions can come together and condemn this - let's see.
  6. If you don't think viruses make you sick here is a link to a site that explains it. It's from a company called Pfizer. No need for thanks. https://www.pfizer.com/news/articles/how_do_viruses_make_us_sick#:~:text=How the immune system reacts, works to destroy invasive microbes.
  7. As an Australian it is likely that the main reason for reduced uptake is that people see the high level threat has passed. You might think everyone is talking about risk of vaccines but it may be more in your bubble than you realise.
  8. Which is the stock standard response from those on the right when you have no comment on the topic
  9. 90 per cent of modern illnesses didn't exist hey. Care to expand on that. You really don't think vaccines have saved lives at all.
  10. I have not read these 4 pages. I get the sense it makes all the macho tough guys on this site feel good but it's not that big a deal to say - if law enforcement's lives are directly threatened we will take action to neutralise the threat. Standard I would have thought. If they are saying if you throw a brick at no one in particular you get shot that would be a something different thing.
  11. The video showed some people protesting peacefully and others going too far - and those latter ones should be held to account. A key issue - linked to this parade - is Trump's actions in this - trampling on states rights - something held dear by the right and possibly illegal and apparently costing 134 million of taxpayers money - when the protests clearly could be handled by Californian police and National Guard and others. This march is symbolic to some of that potential overreach. Trump said LA would have burned to the ground without his involvement - he said it multiple times - can we agree that is totally ridiculous. Hope so.
  12. Not that mad if LA is your example. Even if you disagree with their logic the raids provided a sensible reason for protesters to protest . Small number in a very small area went too far and were dealt with effectively by police and others from California. No need for federal troops. Not unreasonable to protest this parade event - given Trumps recent actions - unusual type of even for US held on Trump's birthday. Not everyone things the same as mainly white middle aged and elderly right wing leaning guys on this site. That's a good thing. The type of extreme enthusiasm of some right wingers here for all things Trump - not you - is more mad to me than the totally expected - but not acceptable - super small minority of disruptive and or extreme protesters.
  13. This is one of the more minor bad deeds but it is interesting that Trump supporters here never or rarely are able to say - yeah this is a bit bad - Trump should do better. Instead it's almost like they feel they are profiting too - not by money but by being able to laugh at people who stick to norms of behaviours and ethical standards
  14. It let me in the first time - maybe because I am in Australia - now it won't. Other articles address the conflict of interest issues though - I should think it is up to him to show evidence of his claim in detail - panelists had published conflict of interest information - including share holdings - you have to admit his examples were weak. Seems odd that the whole panel was apparently flawed - each and every one - indicates it is more a gesture to please his supporters than aiming to have the best people in the position.
  15. It let me in have after I clicked the cross the first time ..
