    I have to assume you are referring to the 1940/50s police, because in my estimation the police farce has gone down hill at a great rate of knots since the 60s. Can't tar them all with the same brush admittedly, and I don't say they are corrupt, but there are some very bad apples in the barrel now.

    What is known as a 'Bit of a Lad', then? He is of course entitled to his opinion, but there are better ways of making said opinion known. Going to the extreme of violence is a fools errand, and achieves very little other than hate.

    Quite agree. but when the one who said yes, OK you can do that, then two years later says. 'I've had people knocking on my door asking where you are'. I knew it was a lie, but as a great distance separated us, what was I to do?

    The simple answer to that is NO. If the DWP know you have left the country after a pension upgrade, they will reduce it to the previous payment.
