  1. Just wondering, if you get kicked out of Thailand do they pay the Air fare. ?.. it may suit some if so....
  2. Young Thai's have told me many times over the years, "You wear a Helmet, you're Chicken", same as showing a Red light at the back of your Motorbike at night, "You're Chicken,....." they reckon they'd lose face doing either...
  3. Bike going too fast.. It's scary being a passenger with any Thai driver, when I'm a passenger in my (Thai) wife's Car I see the Car in front Brake lights come on, for the next 3 or 4 Seconds my Mrs still has her foot on the Gas pedal until I shout BRAKE, yes she's watching the road & her sight is normal under other conditions, it just seems their Brain does'nt register quick enough as seen in this accident...
  4. It depends on if the driver or the police are still wearing face masks.
  5. In my experience with Thai's and Dogs, a Thai will go out of his way on his Motorbike to run the Dog over, its mostly Thai people who put the Dogs on the Streets in the first place, once they cease to be small, and cuddly, expensive to feed they're thrown onto the streets, or to make themselves feel better, they put the dogs at the temple
  6. In a Bar on Pattaya Second Rd, I asked the Lady if she would like a drink, she wanted a Beer, her Beer was poured into a Whiskey size glass saying she did'nt drink so much, I looked at the bill it was 120b, the rest of the Beer was put under the counter hoping I would buy another, good, (rip off business,) 4 or 5 lady beers from a small Leo..
  7. Yes as a Retired member of the UK Institute of Advanced Motorists I fully agree, and a few years ago I put your suggestion to my Thai brother in law, a Captain in Thai Police Force, his reply was as expected..... Thai people don't need to learn from Farangs...!!
  8. Yes, good idea,.... but who's the Driving Instuctor ?,.. a Thai ?.. bad idea
  9. And line the pockets of others
  10. Their idea ....." It's not my fault, blame something, somebody else".. problem is, many times the police believe this B.S
  11. More quality Tourists can be expected...
