December 29, 200619 yr I believe Thailand does still have the death penalty. realy? then it would be interesting to get updates of this story - would the Ghanian guy be finally executed? perhaps some other similar cases as example? coz so far I can't remember such, as much as in Malaysia they are well publisised.
December 30, 200619 yr Some things stand out.. A street dealer selling grammes has 2 keys in his room ??? Secondly a Ghanian street dealer has 2 keys at all.. Somewhere north of 3 mil baht of coke ?? Yet selling on the streets for grammes.

Source: The Nation - 29 December 2006 Interesting in that about 5 days ago the Bangkok Post had an article listing the '10 most dangerous sois in Bangkok' that the Thai Police would be increasing patrols in during the New Year holiday period. Two of these 10 sois cited were Soi Charansanitwong 37 'known for sexual assaults' and Soi Charansanitwong 89 'known for drugs'. Guess they can add soi 42 to their list.
December 30, 200619 yr I though this story was a bit wierd myself. Wouldn't it be better to sell drugs to farangs as one is less likely to run into a undercover cop? Of course there is DEA in this country but still, why not go to some club and sell instead of the street? There might be more to this story.
