If there is anyone here that doubts my intent, also PM me and I will arrange to meet you to discuss this after this is all done if you believe you need to see this right. If this was one of your own children, would you be doubting someone that could help them live through this?

All, this is deadly serious and we have been snubbed by too many already. I have seen and experienced good advice from this forum over the years. I am very serious with this, please do not <deleted> with this situation if you can't help. You can PM me like one of the moderators has if you can help.

In all due respect nobody I have crossed here on TVF seems to be real fond of the PM much less have access to his email. If your Chairman knows him that seems like a better lead. Good Luck if you're not BS'in
Ok, we need his office, not him to give a go ahead. This is getting nowhere.

Why do you expect a response from the PM's office posting here??
How do you know that you can rescue them, without first seeing the lie of the land?
We have been there, are already on the international news, and are getting nowhere. Latest, we are asked to submit a proposal in Thai with equipment and procedures we will offer. We do not have Thai staff that can articulate this. I am not looking for the PM office to respond here. I am looking for a PM, this forum does get monitored by those that can make it happen.

So, oil industry divers. Zero experience in cave diving which is a completely different skill.
We also have that experience and more. Please don't shit on this offer unless you know something better!

We have offered it already, and the offer is still here. We are a commercial diving company that can rescue the boys and their coach. Not easy, but we have the knowledge, and most of the resources. PM me if you are in the prime ministers office, you will know my Chairman, and all it takes is an executive order to cut through the well meant, but not effective effort so far. We will utilize your Navy Seals and our ex-military oil industry personnel with equipment that your Navy has no access to. There is no need for any more deaths.
-
We have offered a commercial/military solution that will take multiple stage SRP systems with ex-military, now commercial divers and commercial diving systems. It may also not be 100% fail safe, but likely is. To continue on as a SCUBA rescue, blood on your hands is guaranteed from the info we can see. The offer is still out there.

Getting them out on SCUBA will mean one or more will not make it. SRP with a commercial/military team and plan will work safely and in a short time compared to what they have been doing.

Any idea what the buoyancy of such a tube is when empty? Lets give them a 1m diameter tube. The ends are sealed. It has 785kg of buoyancy per linear meter. So no diver will be able to pull a 10m, 20m, any length underwater for any distance down, up no problem aside from it ascending uncontrollably. If you fill it with water, it essentially collapses, it may stay somewhat open, but it will be very easy to get stuck in it. If you can pump the water out, it has an enormous amount of buoyancy trying to get to the highest side, it is out of control and you don't want people in such a death trap. Keep on thinking!

Need a mining type ventilation system quick! CO2 underground is a very dangerous risk. Problem being if it is already a tight squeeze to get to them, making it tighter by filling it with >3,000m of in/out hose is going to compound that risk. CO2 scrubbers would work, powered by? Technology is a great answer if this was a controlled environment, that's the catch! Every hour they remain in there, must be beyond breaking point already with this sort of stress!
Mine rescue people, keep working on it, what sounded like good news last night, is still a huge problem! Best wishes to you all helping and to you young people still in the cave.

bright light in a dark world. Please get them all out and speedy recovery!

An AUV or ROV is not going to be of any use in a river flowing through a cave. Please don't hate me for saying, I do want these people to be saved. But the truth is, that the water flow stop and draining is the only way, if they can be saved, it will happen.

And the local wine is undrinkable unless you like excess aldehydes. Are these tax increases on wine proportional with other alcohol beverages. If not its a foreigners tax. By the way they are even complaining about this on reddit, r/thailand
Khao Yai wines are very good! No additives.

This is just talk. they have no intention of letting foreigners do any of these jobs. Brick laying maybe but will need to find a way around the minimum wage.

Get to know your letters and this should not happen. You can kick them out as soon as you see the signs and fixing broken stuff it not one of them. Cheap fixtures and old stuff eventually falls apart when used. As someone mentioned, many condos are lego-builds and furnished. This is an extreme negligence case though and disgraceful. It looks like a Rugby team got loose in it for an hour after a night out on the piss!

For certain someone tried to get away without paying in advance! So they paid on delivery!

They have increased it a lot of times in the past. This time appears to have stuck.
The few Thai vineyards will be pleased with this!

In any event, it is always best to inform the bank(s) to expect transactions from abroad.
If you don't inform them and get approval, credit and ATM debit will not work overseas, guaranteed.

So long as they keep to the existing main tourist areas, it will just make them more crowded. Perhaps the novelty will wear off in a few years and they will decide it is not worth the trip, they don't plan on learning to speak Thai or want to stay here aside from the few entrepreneurial mostly young. There is a lot to see in China still and that is where they know how to really make money.

Great advertising for Soi Cowboy. Hope I depart this world like he did, RIP!

When do they re-enact the crime?

Should be great for the traffic jam. There wont be one. or any people. What are they going to do if not the sanuk they usually do?
-
It's relative to where a tourist goes and what trouble one gets into or not.
Full moon parties in Goa, Bali, Montanita, or Zanzibar are just as likely to end pair shaped, or splattered as any here in Thailand.
Not often a person stays at the Sheraton or equivalent at any of those and reports anything worse than dehydration and a hangover.
