Yesterday they had perspex screens and everyone whore face masks but it was packed and total chaos,
a few of the immigration officers where rather short tempered at the end of the day.
I can only imagine, for now! Those IO staff are at as much risk or more than front line medical workers! Very sad that they will lose some of their ranks with this just doing what is not meant to be a hazardous job.

One step at a time. A week ago, there were many saying this would double daily. It has not done so anywhere. Just follow the rules for now and don't think you know more than the next person.

I agree this is serious! What I see when the daily figures are announced, the new infected cases are not in offices or factories aside from the 3 CW complex and a hospital worker. I must be missing the posts on this?

R0=2.5 to R0=1.5 is encouraging. I have no problem following the rules if it starves the virus out. Keep up the effort all and thanks for the info to Dr. Yong.

With PR, you still need a work permit to work. If not important to the OP, disregard.

Nobody knows what the world will look like in 30 days. The plan is, to plan to be back in business in 30 days. If need to delay, then plan to be in business in another 30 days. One day at a time is too hard to see anything like progress - much. For certain, this thing can be tracked reasonably well, lets see if the curve can be flattened flat. For another certainty, even the most negative need to make a living still, if not by working for income, then from handouts. The handouts now have a limit.

Now that this is gaining traction as a potential to slow the spread, please do educate the public on safe use of these when they do get or need them.
Asymptomatic spreaders is good enough reason for all to wear these in public if available. I did not agree with that until recent advice from medical and science experts.

Try Pattaya International Hospital. Has a small, but well staffed dermatology clinic. Should be fast and easy to get in and out.

Some businesses will just hit restart, and catch up. I'm working from home, so my employer has not stopped doing business, but challenges are like never experienced before. Hope that all of you can restart when the dust is clear.

Security could become an issue if you stop seeing the cops about.

Letting it run its course was largely what 2009 Swine flu pandemic did. The casualty number is not clear, but it was a lot even after several vaccines were made available.
A vaccine, if available and safer than the virus itself, would be welcome before letting it run rampant.

There will be some market for those now that police and customs are distracted by C19. Bad thiefs! Not a good way to take advantage of the world in turmoil! Maybe a good new type of movie in the works recovering them by daredevil slueths!

What is needed, is very clear instructions how to wear and remove the mask safely so you don't expose yourself and others to the virus droplets if they do get on the mask somehow and not on the rest of your body or clothes. Without that, the masks are providing a false sense of security.
