I am perplexed that anyone would leave a bottle of water or any personal items unattended to go exercise/run. Theft would of course have been my first concern, but I just can't see drinking anything left unattended. Mind you, if the cap was sealed and appeared undisturbed maybe a level of confidence was thought that it was okay. Still, if I bring something, it goes with me or I'm able to watch it all the time.
Umm...dangerous world out there, watch your every move. I am a runner and exercise in Lumpini park everyday for last 25yrs. These last few years, it is normal practice for hundreds of joggers to leave their water bottles or protein shakers in the bushes at any favourite spot and stop by during the laps to drink some water if necessary and pick it up on the last lap.

So what is a good skin colour in your opinion? In any case, he is the wounded victim, not the "very drunk foreigner"

One Thai died in the UK which is terrible but put things into perspective, it's 1 out of 44,236 people who have died from Covid in the UK.
And its 1 out of 1,181,000 people here in Thailand who have died of Covid.

Western countries should leave their ego behind and mask up like the (south)east. Or are they worried about a serious loss of face?

Around Soi Thonglor to Ekamai area and opposite side (Soi 36 to 40) there are about 10 mega size condos in various stages of construction. Total madness.

OP says that he "played a good game with the girls in Pattaya for 10 years" and then married one of them. Speaks volumes about his character too. But at least he seems to have changed, pity the child.

This might not be useful to most people , but just wanted to ask, I am eyeing for a job that provides a Non immigrant "F" visa. Is this visa even eligible for PR/Citizenship? , Currently struggling to make the minimum points in my current job. So thinking of a switch.
More knowledgable members will soon correct me if i am wrong, but i dont see any problem with the non-immigrant F visa if you have a proper Work Permit and have been paying taxes for a certain number of years (3yrs for a PR if i remember correctly) and have a salary over the required threshold. Look up in a separate pinned thread on getting PR. After being on PR for 5yrs, you can apply for citizenship. Rules are different if married to a Thai citizen.

Not one of them wearing a mask, me neither.
You cant talk, eat & drink while wearing a mask.

Neither would they want to holiday in a place with old farang sex addicts, alcoholics, pedos, deviants and rejects from their own countries. How is that for another sweeping generalization?

Many are from the World's oldest profession and many have 'maeng da' boyfriends.
And yes, the Thais can immediately tell your wife or gf was a gas cooker.
And why is it that mostly old caucasian farangs are attracted to them like flies to shet? Hardly ever heard of retired Chinese, Indians, Koreans, Japanese, Arabs, Africans etc travelling here for the singular purpose of marrying young women from the "World's oldest profession, many having 'maeng da' boyfriends" as you say?

I thought all Thais refer to themselves in the 3rd person. They must be all either narcissistic or schizophrenic ????????

Try f$$k you. Not addressed to you personally.
Take a tour of any Night Bazaar, there are plenty of T-shirts with offensive slogans.
I saw a guy wearing a T-shirt saying 'Suck my c*ck' in big bold capital letters, with the picture of a hen below the words. Dont think he understood anything.

What about giving credit on the investments made in bar girls, beer, massage etc?

I paid about 600k school fees (full year with meals, no school bus) for my child in Key Stage 2. The school promises 181 school days minimum, so this works out to about 3300 Baht per school day. Due to covid lockdown, 57 days were done on zoom (extremely low quality, i would say it was just 5% of real classroom). We were refunded a paltry 15000 Baht, working out to 260 Baht a day.

A lot of sense in some of what he's saying .. And the continuing denial when it's been part of their society for centuries just adds to the ridicule that comes Thailand's way from other quarters on the subject .. They should also look at how some Euro countries manage prostitution regard the health check issue and put in place a regime if they are thinking about taxing them ..
Just curious, do European prostitutes present a printed invoice with VAT to their customers after the deed is done? And can their services be paid for by credit card? Or must pay by cash and the sex workers just declare their income at the end of the financial year and pay tax (if over the threshold)?

Given the difficult circumstances for many people here on various kinds of visas, i think that the government would be sympathatic and considerate enough to extend all the visa requirements till 1st Jan 2021 for those already inside Thailand, and waive the 400/800k or whatever amount was required for the yearly extension for one single time.

This guy arrived in Thailand 14 years ago when he was in his forties. Presumably he didn't become eligible for retirement extensions until he attained fifty, in or about 2009. He's not yet reached German retirement age so can't yet be in receipt of their generous pension.
He stopped extending his retirement permits in 2014, long before changes regarding evidence of funds or daily reporting became a big thing. It would be nonsensical to blame those changes for his failures to comply back then.
Why did he stop extending in 2014? A lack of funds would be most likely.
How (or by whom) has he been supported in his years of overstay?
Either an alcoholic or a monger or duped by his girlfriend is my guess.
