About Me

Retired (early) Building Services consultancy mechanical design and construction engineer from eastern England. Started working life as a Merchant Navy Engineer. Stayed 11 years.

I've lived in Thailand since 2009.

Married to a retired teacher.

 

Motorcyclist for over 50 years. Owned mainly 60s, 70s and 80s Ducati singles & twins (12 of 'em) plus some others inc. BSA, BMW R80RS (hated it!), Hondas, Kawasaki, Morini 350, Stallions, Sunbeam S8, Suzukis and Triumph Daytona 675. Royal Enfield 650 Continental GT now - an excellent bike for my current needs.

 

Hobbies - wife & grandchildren, motorcycling, not-too-strenuous cycling, trying to grow pitcher plants & orchids, dogs & cats.
