Sorry "Long O" was just the terminology on one of the sites.
1m as in my post, so financial requirements easy to meet.
-
Sorry, this is probably a repetitive question but the more I searched and read the less clear it became.
Canadian, 60yrs (in 6 days)
On extension of visa exempt expires Oct 10/22
putting 1m in Thai bank next week (regardless of visa)
I DONT want 3m baht insurance coverage, Im comfortable with less and no out patient
Can I get the "long O visa" in country, neighbouring country, or is it back to Canada.
thanks very much

I kind of get the feeling kids must be really unhealthy these days if they get sick after standing and sitting 200 times. Maybe circuit training should be added to the children's gym regime !
I won't argue with that because I've never seen how this school does the routine.
My first school, the student is standing and then sits/squats till the bum touches the ground and then a quick up. No chairs involved. Our kids had to do 20 when late for the flag. Its tough! 200 would be painful. -
Saw the National Geographic one first, well made enjoyed it. Was sceptical to watch this one as I just saw the story. It is the same story but a different take on it.
I enjoyed both versions, they compliment each other. Ones technical, one is emotional.

it's not a question of terminology, there are 3 distinct tourist visa classes at the base level:
Cheers, I do appreciate that. ????
I was pleased when I looked at the passport and only saw a little stamp.

not same same.
Not Taking the pi$$ but you brought it up, and Ive seen the same comment over the past 12 years quite often. I agree there is a difference in terminology.
To the consumer/tourist what is the difference between 30 day visa and 30 day visa exempt. Not terminology, I want to know if one is any different from the other as far as a regular 30 day tourist is concerned. Do Visa people get any more benefits, easier to renew, any advantages? Thanks, genuinely curious. ????

Canadians don't qualify for VOA. you got a Visa Exemption. not same same.
Yes, you're are right. Good job.
Ubonjoe, Cansiam Thanks, wasn't aware of it. Checked into it a year and a bit ago and it was the mail in thing. Didn't even bother checking this time, and I should have! -

You should really get a visa though, its really not that hard and keeps immigration happy and it works out about the same price .........what's your problem
That really depends where you are. In the middle of Canada I have to courier a special envelope 20$ with a self addressed envelope inside $20 and a money order $ to Vancouver, with my passport and application photos etc. Any complications I can phone them, but they never pick up the phone or answer emails.
Or I can just get visa on arrival, which I did 2 weeks ago, trouble free.

5555 Hilarious thread. Especially reading in one go.
No way she'll get a new car. She doesn't deserve a new car. No where in the world would give her a new car. Its not a new car its 2 years old. no 16 months. closer to a year. No its 2 years old. she'll never get a new car.
She got a new car.
Good for her. Totally deserved it. Condolences to those who think she didn't deserve it. 555555

Just found this on one of my Facebook Cannabis growers groups. I know nothing about it but found it interesting. No mention of CBD only or THC limit.

Also I can even try to make her say on facebook that she wants them with me here to get a better education.
You need a lawyer for instruction. You're making decisions based on emotions not intelligence. I mean no offence, Ive done the same.

It's probably 90%.
If you actually lived in Thailand you wouldn't be so naive about the drug problem here.
90% eh! Really. 9 out of 10 people. Really. why even post if you're just going to state totally ridiculous "facts".
12 years in Thailand, 8 in Isaan. University teacher. Had well over 3000 students over the years. Cant think of one case where I thought the student was high. When someone is on Yaba, you can tell.
It is a problem, a serious problem, but stating silly numbers benefits no one. 90% hahaha If it was 20%, which I doubt it would be serious, deadly serious. That would be 2 out of ten people. You're stating 9 out of 10 is high on Yaba. Do you know how percentages work? You're stating 60 million people in Thailand use Yabba, are you going to stick with that profound analysis?

Heres my guess.
Stage 4 as mentioned, generally end of the road. Possibly he is seeking "Alternative" procedures here. Expensive and questionable results and not covered by insurance.

Im amazed and disheartened that this is a 4 page discussion. Any person of any country that stands up to fight democracy should be applauded.
As Jan 6, and trucker convoys in various countries have shown 10-30% of the population are complete idiots. Those statistics show true here also.
