  1. I used to belong to Amnesty 40 years ago when its main purpose was to campaign on behalf of prisoners of conscience. It has become a highly politicised organisation, infected by the woke mind virus, like so many other NGOs.
  2. They never went to Congress to ask permission for any of their forever wars. Now they want Congressional approval for the nuclear button to be pushed? "What's that you say, the enemy has just launched a first strike? Err....hold on General, we need to wait for a Congressional caucus to gather".
  3. Galloway is a dangerous POS, in the pocket of every Middle Eastern dictator since Saddam Hussein. The Arab world may be dead to him, but he's done his best to recreate it in the UK. Corbyn is just a misguided Marxist fool. The only useful thing that Boris Johnson ever did was to see him off at the 2019 general election.
  4. Not sure why anyone's confused about this comment. The facts are indisputable. On the one hand you have the revival of an economy that's been destroyed by 70 years of socialism, on the other hand the ongoing destruction by socialism of an economy that was already tottering on the ropes.
  5. Not so favourable for the people of Ukraine. Half a millon plus casualties and the total destruction of many of their cities and industries. Of course that will also be a favorable deal for the United States, as Blackrock, JP Morgan and the other vultures fly in to pick over the carcass and profit from the massive 'reconstruction' funds that the US taxpayer will make available.
  6. Yawn. Another sad hit piece on Carlson. What exactly is wrong with listening to what the other side has to say? Maybe if Biden had done that three years ago the US wouldn't be in the mess it is now trying to extract itself from in Ukraine.
  7. “It’s such a complex beast and so hard to disentangle,” Goessling remarked. He proposed that multiple factors might be at play. Regulatory measures aimed at reducing sulfur emissions from shipping—a success for air quality and human health—may have inadvertently played a role by reducing pollution that once brightened clouds and cooled the planet. This one paragraph proves that there is no such thing as a 'scientific consensus' on climate change. They really haven't got a clue what's causing it, or even if there is anything at play other than normal cycles of warming and cooling that have been occurring for millennia. And no, I'm not a denier, just a seeker after truth who knows it won't be found in paid-for 'climate emergency' propaganda.
  8. It's the BBC rewriting history to suit its own agenda.
  9. Oh please! Is that all you've got?
  10. You're obviously not running a business then or employing anyone. Try getting away from the keyboard and out into the real world.
  11. BBC's influence on football. Premier League players still taking the knee, despite the utterly discredited BLM scam. Rainbow armbands an laces obligatory yesterday FFS. And at least one woman commentator/pundit for every men's match. And have you watched Wolf Hall (great series by the way)? Incredible the number of black people at the court of Henry III. But I'm sure it's historically accurate, as approved by the BBC's 'fact checkers'. They are running a ludicrously self-righteous ad at the moment. boasting about their reporters' 'tireless search for the truth'. Not an ounce of introspection or self awareness in that doomed organisation.
  12. It's his modus operandi. Arrogance and personal attacks, Fortunately he gets very little support on here.
  13. This is a joke, right? BBC is populated by the most left wing 'journalists' of any UK news organisation.
  14. It's hard to imagine anyone still believes the BBC is a credible news organisation.
  15. Of course. It's a proxy war, don't forget.
  16. Biden playing the ultimate game of Russian roulette.
  17. Yet another propaganda hit piece on RFK. It's a daily occurrence now. The desperate corporate media have nothing else left in the locker after everything they've stood for has been blown away by the election of Trump.
  18. So dangerous you have to say it twice. Biden starting WW3 by allowing Ukraine to lob missiles into Russia is not dangerous at all though, right?
  19. Please don't feed the troll. The woke cannot be converted with common sense.
  20. "the dangers some individuals face"... Only if they belong to the religion of peace.
  21. Well, I do agree with your last point, that there is a two-tier justice system in the UK. Most ordinary people cannot understand why the police are so keen to investigate online 'hate crimes' when they're too busy to turn up for shoplifting, burglaries and what people perceive as real crimes. By the way, the police said when they turned up at her door they were investigating a 'non-crime hate incident'. Yes, that is a thing in today's dystopian UK.
  22. You miss the point entirely (or is it voluntary deflection?). No-one's blaming the two coppers who turned up at her door on a Sunday morning. It's the idea that in a free, democratic society you can be accused of a crime (or 'invited' for an interview about a non-crime in this case) without knowing who's accusing you or why, have your neighbours twitching the curtains as the police cars arrive outside your door, and generally have your reputation trashed because someone (unnamed) didn't like what you allegedly said (unknown) online. It's the law that's an ass.
  23. More desperate nit-picking. It's amazing how you wokesters can twist yourselves into a pretzel trying to justify the unjustifiable. Ms Pearson, having been disturbed by two young coppers at the door while preparing to attend a Remembrance Day service, made an off-the-cuff remark to them while clearly under considerable stress. And you're complaining because she didn't include our Commonwealth brethren?? You and your ilk seem to believe that accusing people of a "non-crime hate incident" without telling them who's accusing them or what they're supposed to have said is perfectly OK. It may have been under Comrade Stalin but not in any free, democratic society.
  24. ...and that proves what exactly in relation to this thread?
  25. We've swung to the complete opposite of Martin Luther King's ideal - that a man (or woman) should be judged not by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character. We need to get back there urgently.
