You really are funny sometimes....check last week's teams. We had 5 Brits starting...you had 3!????
And anyway, my joy comes from competing for titles whilst playing great football. Something you cannot witness yourself. I don't particularly care which country our players come from. They play for LFC and that's good enough for me.
Gambles on reckoning the same amount of youngsters are in the team now as were in 2017, meanwhile the polar opposite has been happening on our team sheets for months. ????????♂️

It's not flaming but whoever wrote that article could have a libel case arriving at their door.... 2 biggest crooks in football? There's some serious competition there don't you think?
Yeah ok, but go through the thread and it is credible. I totally agree there is some serious competition.

I saw Colombia v Peru last night and Diaz did not stand out. He hung onto the ball too much and was quite easily disposessed a few times. Colombia have now gone 6 WC qualifiers without scoring a goal, which is not entirely down to him but he is part of a disfunctional unit.
Colombia played a basic 4 4 2 last night with strong support from overlapping full backs. Diaz was on the left wing and moved infield when the FB overlapped.
Peru won 1-0 down to a howler from goalie Ospina. First shot for them after 80 minutes.
Won the golden boot along side Messi at Copa America

Mods! Can we have this deleted please.... Clearly got nothing to do with VDB
Mate this isn't flaming, it doesn't question anything about your club, nor slander it. It's a very interesting and credible story though. Surely you've read more about this from your own credible fans, they've commented.
As Xylophone mentioned it makes sense.

Congrats!
Our number 1 summer target sorted and on the park in February this season. Champagne business grandad!

A question for you ChipButty, as you seem to be in the know about these things, however I would love to hear from anybody else who has an answer to my question: – why did United sign DVB and never give him a chance??
There were rumours that he was signed without OGS involvement, however that would seem to be unlikely being that the manager would have the last say over what players are signed?
Such a shame for the player because he was well fêted by the press when he played for Ajax and of course he was a Dutch international has – so what happened?

Signing a player from the Portuguese League can go either way. There is a massive quality gap.
But then look at someone like Werner who was proven in one of the top leagues.
The truth is we don't know.
5 hours ago, mrbojangles said:He scored in the first game against us and from what I saw, yeah he can dribble but I thought his biggest attribute and what stood out the most was his determination to win the ball back. Made it difficult for us to do our possession style. But it's difficult to give a full appraisal as in both games he didn't play a full game. Off early in the second half of the first game and came on late in the second game.
Haha, he's a <deleted>in baller lads!! Talk him down all you like, a bit of time with Jurgen and he'll be lighting the league up!

Ranieri is available and I'd take him. No shame in getting the boot at Watford given their track record.
Looks like Periera is back at the front of the list again. Yeah I agree regarding Ranieri, at least he has experience and pedigree, but what is the long term plan here.

Personally, I think Rooney has the best chance of getting it...barring any skeletons that the trickies probably already know about.
Another disaster in the making, in no way qualified. I hope they do sign him ????

Latest in the frame is a guy called Vitor Pereira. Bit of a globetrotter. Since leaving Portugal he's managed in Arabia, Turkey, Greece and China. Currently without a job as sacked by Fenerbahce in December so at least he should be cheap!????
Shouldn't be anywhere near the conversation and that considered he will likely be the next manager ????
Moshiri about to pump another 100M in, cue another round of bad transfer decisions?

A special mention to 'our Friend' Kevin, who was as bad as ever, but for once gave his worst decisions in our favour. The penalty was an absolute joke!
Yep farcical pen, and look at us, 2 grown ups admitting when we get a penalty undeservedly. That is something you don't see on the City or United thread. ????

Why could it be a good move?
I know you probably have a nostalgic soft spot for Coutinho but do you honestly think Gerrard can turn this guy around? He's been <deleted> for years.
If Gerrard can, he is a seriously good manager.
99% of us don't have any soft spot for Coutinho, if it wasn't for him being sold half our title and CL winning spine may not have been bought. Glad he was a little toe rag in the end.
Still think he will boss it at Villa, great signing for them.

As I said, I'd sooner be 8 points in front than behind but those stats are just predictions, they are far from fat ladies singing
I think the SPI ratings method is more like mathematic probability. 85% chance you will win the league.

See you guys have another 'Official Partner' The Emirates Palace Hotel!!! Now that place wouldn't be Government owned would it?????
When 2 players in every position is not enough.
All their big sponsors are out of Abu Dhabi, why doesn't any other companies compete for these deals, that's right because they make no financial sense whatsoever.
When you can't afford a draw away at Chelsea halfway through a season where you have lost only 2 matches it's a bit grim. I think we will look back at how incredible it was that Klopp managed to grab a title in between this monopoly.

He's going to 'go upstairs' after the 6 months so will still have an influence.
Yeah true and surely he has sold the board on a short list that play this style of football. Bookie's favourite?

Well it's hard when you try and transplant a Catalan club and culture in the UK, assuming you are going to have a couple of English players. Having a couple of drinks around Christmas isn't the Catalan way, it seems.
Grealish probably thought he had the week off, it's not like they need him.

What happened to the 'new manager bounce'? Didn't we all say that any decent manager could get a tune out of these players?
Sorry, the manager has to be accountable too.
I mentioned it before, but if RR is going to be developing a higher level pressing, intensity and shape to this team it could get uglier again. And as you have mentioned, interim manager so is it worth doing so only for it to be scrapped in 6 months when the team is just getting the hang of it.

Quite regularly chippy, he used to ride down with his mates from Wigan. They'd regularly get in scraps with rockers in Manchester ????

I wonder why it was rejected (Deal Sheet).
You'd have to think they just could do the deal now as agreed yesterday and just forward date the deal to the end of the season. I hope they'll announce him first day of the summer window.
