I m working in surin.Today i called kap chung immigration to inquire to know if i could extend my visa in kap chung instead of going to bkk and also to get a re entry permit.The Lady who picked up the call told me that the kap chung office doesn't issue re entry permits.as the officer there is new and got no experience.and when i asked about my yearly extension to be done in kap chung,she gave the same answer,and insisited me to go to Phiboon immigration office( ubon ratchthani),or Bangkok.

any recent experiences there are welcome !

The Thai Immogration official who is always lurking about before you go to the window exit Thailand in Kap Choeng told me that his office oppisite the supermarket (wherever that is?) told me that when it was time for me to renew my non imm O visa he will gladly process for me. He certainly knows the rules as to the 400k required, upon asking him further regarding proof of funds from overseas he smiled and said just my bank statement is suffice Bingo

We are in our 30's, and thinking of taking a part time course... would this work for visa purposes? What happens if i dont attend the course (with regard to the visa)?
