  1. Sorry Nong, I don't mean to be too judgemental but if you're 80 and drinking a few beers every day you're never giving your body a chance to recover from the alcohol consumption. However old you are you should give your body a break from the alcohol every few days. As we age metabolism naturally slows down. I've found that not drinking too much, taking a break from alcohol every two days and not eating after 8pm has helped my acid reflux considerably. I take one omeprazole at night. Exercise is good.

It could be I guess but it’s a bit misleading. I did see a few bottles in Tops.

I don't understand how San Miguel Zero can be 3% abv. I thought low alcohol or zero alcohol drinks had to be under 1% abv. ????
  4. True, An interesting person is never bored.
  5. I loved Vientiane. Easy to get to. Easy to walk around being very flat. Lots of bakeries and bistros due to the French influence. Some nice old colonial architecture. At least two excellent Belgian beer bars. Fine weather most of the year. Some nice parks. You can pay for most things in US dollars or baht. Friendly people: a couple of young monks approached me and asked me if I needed help. The only downside was the tuk-tuk ma.fia and maybe the lack of easy girls if you're that way inclined.
  6. Cocaine being found at the White House is still better than Trump being found at the White House. ????
  7. That's true. All serious scientists say they don't know but can hypothesize based on available facts.
  8. The only icons I use occasionally are the thanks, thumbs up and love icons. The others are too vague. For instance the haha icon, are you laughing at a funny comment or laughing at the poster because they've posted something silly? Equally with the sad icon, are you sad because the subject matter is sad or because the poster is? And the confused icon can have two meanings too. The benefit of icons is to provide clarity but without comment some can be pointless.
  9. Lol. I posted that just to highlight a difference in percentages. I don’t lose sleep over it. You’re overthinking this, BR.
  10. It’s not something I would ever worry about. If you insist you’re heterosexual I’ll take you at your word and I would extend that to everyone.
  11. Actually he's a retired Anglican vicar who runs the evangelical Filling Station in the U.K. https://thefillingstation.org/ Not much doubt about evangelicals views on LGBT+ It would be interesting to see what he actually said.
  12. Yes, it would be clear what they were doing. As to why they think that they're not bisexual or homosexual, only they can answer that.
  13. I think the terms heterosexual, bisexual and homosexual are pretty clear. If someone identifies as any one of these then I think we understand them. There might be a problem with bisexual as it refers to both sides of attraction so I guess it might be on a scale, but I can't really speak for bisexual men or women.
  14. "Remaining population" is a bit coy. ???? I think we should rename it straight people then we can talk about the "hetero plague" Lol
  15. What act? Bisexuality is being attracted to both men and women and doesn't necessarily require a sexual act if that's what you're alluding too. Indeed a bi man could make love to fifty women a week and a man once in a blue moon. Those "acts" if conducted are primarily heterosexual. The distinction is homosexuals are almost exclusively attracted to the same sex, I'm not sure what "5% (drunken, methead..)" means exactly. ????
  16. The article actually says 43% are gay or not hetero/bi. Just stating a fact.
  17. From the article in your link. However, the same study found that 57% of men who have sex with men identified as heterosexual or bisexual.
  18. So there were 21 cases last month and 48 more this month. It's hardly sweeping the country like wildfire. And remember these are new diagnoses. Many of these people might have had the virus already but have come forward to be diagnosed. It's a virus and contagious so it's bound to spike for a while. Also I see some people calling it a 'homosexual' disease because it is currently most prevalent amongst gay men. Using that logic most contagious diseases including STD's are 'heterosexual' diseases as they start in the heterosexual community and spread to the homosexual community. Both are nonsense as disease knows no gender or sexuality.
  19. JSO literally published the letter of their possible action on their Twitter account beforehand, so there was prior knowledge of their intentions.
  20. Nope, just someone anxious to stop the spreading of lies/and or misinformation.
  21. My favourite is when Phil Tufnell was at the crease and one of the Aussie slip fielders shouted out "Hey Phil, can you lend me your brain, I'm building an idiot?"
  22. If the blues artists started out today singing about their hard lives and how their baby done them wrong they'd be called snowflakes and told to grow a pair.
  23. Indeed, in folk music doing your own version of a traditional tune is seen as a rite of passage. There are hundreds of versions of Matty Groves and Tam Lin in a myriad of styles. As Martin Carty said, once people stop copying that's when the music dies.
  24. The very definition of snowflake.
