Another useless project to throw (give away) money at....Chinese safety can only be had if they don't use tourist/or any busses...don't use taxis...don't cross the road...don't argue in a restaurant....don't crap on the beach....the list goes on...

Then again....what about the other 10 million tourists that aren't Chinese? Obviously no protection for them!

Old tech....these have been in use for decades...usually using heavy duty corrugated steed pipe sections.....I'm 77 and used these 30 years ago.....but things are slow here..no-one here like change!

Just a 5 minute stroll along Suk will show everyone just how many freelancers are there.....and never a cop in sight!

Actually...most street vendors do pay a fee....whether that fee makes it to the revenue department would be doubtful....and if someone encroaches on their site, look out as all hell will break loose!
