Careful, the last couple that came here to cycle through were ran over by a lorry.
yes, that was my first thoughts also. Thailand is definitely not bicycle friendly

to be delivered at the same time as the 10 year visa ie don't hold your breath waiting for it to happen

wow, how many cars are there on the road here that aren't actually transferred to the proper owner? my wife tells me this is why they don't introduce drive thru road toll booths that send the bill to the owner like what happens in Australia and I imagine most other countries in the world. If I am in an accident here, I will be taking pics of the other car, the person driving, the guys licence, everything.

Flying pigs, now flying pickups.
Just another day on Thai roads.
Many drivers here do not know how, and have never been shown to read the road.
Most drivers here ( my wife included ) only see what is directly in front of them, they never look a few vehicles in front to see gauge what is/will happen.
this doesn't just applies to the crazy thai driving. their whole life (generalizing of course, not all are the same, but a majority, have a look at their driving) is about living for the moment and who cares what will happen tomorrow. a nice way to live but very short sighted, the same as their driving, never looking ahead to see what is happening down the road

don't mind paying a bit extra. DO mind paying 10 times extra what thais pay. They won't be getting anything from me either.

0.05 for those that hold a 5 year license, just so you know the proper information !!
that's nice, but the heading for the poll says 0.0

How about you put proper information in this poll. Legal alcohol limit in Thailand is 0.05 for the public drivers and 0.0 for commercial drivers

Leo beer is made by sangha brewing company, you can see that on the label you posted. I prefer it to sangha, its not a bad drop.

new model mazda mx 5 2.0 L soft top just been released in Australia for $38,500 on the road price (1,041million baht) or retractible hardtop for $42,300 (1,137 million baht).
The new model Thailand MX5 is only available as a soft top in Thailand and has just gone on sale here for 2.7 Million baht.
I wonder why the thai government is dragging its heels about bringing in ASEAN pricing

mazda Australia were selling the new model CX5 and CX3 for nearly 12 months before selling it here in thailand

had a look at them for flights to Brisbane Australia. they are about 12,000 baht more expensive than emirates and QANTAS and nearly 10,000 more than thai. good luck to them

Fascinating but this thread is about the PHUKET Immigration Office- we thank you for your input though.
fascinating but I hope you realise that some people do live in other places of Thailand apart from Phuket and that this story appeared in Thaivisa, not phuketvisa

Its never worked for me. I do mine by mail. Takes about 2 hours to fill in the form, get the copies of the documents they want and the time at the post office. Very easy and reliable. Why would I want to drive to Chaeng Wattana thru all the goddamned traffic and sit there for 2 hours and drive back. its a no brainer, by mail everytime for me

That pic is the 4 door hatchback. We will not get the coupe in Thailand, as far as I know.
4 doors plus the rear door (trunk) makes 5 doors

Surely this is a reserved occupation in Thailand; only Thais can carry out this sort of work?

But it was public that you have to put into your account 3 MB and can't move for three year ! After you're able to get 10 years that mean 5. Year x 2 time = 10 year retirement visa ?
it can't be a hoax , I think they are not ready with their system !?

I have not seen any abusive or insulting posts
One of the reasons Thailand is to be admired- no drawn out appeals going on for years, especially when a case is black and white. Thailand does not get many things right but it does with illegal immigration, like it or not.
this is very funny. if you have money, you don't have Thailand visa or overstay
