jumping red traffic light is a national sport in Thailand ...... a friend of mine has his car crushed because of a truck which didnt stop at the red light on sukhumvit in pattaya few months ago ..beside the CCTV which proved the fact , owner of the tuck denied allegation. I have drive for 20 years in the LOS and seen so many people jumping at red light ... nothing new

That could be an example for Thailand when they prosecute murder cases ... that's what you get if you kill someone .... no possibility to flee abroad , to hide or to be bailed.

Very sad indeed ...but it seems the government won't do anything special as if they really wanted to take care about road safety they would have acted long ago and not waiting for more dead more accidents. Anything to do with Karma perhaps ? or Thainess way of life and death ? the only thing we can do for the time being is to avoid buses , trains , minivans .... For the rest , been driving 20 years in Bangkok without a scratch ..... ok I dont drive everyday ...
