The threat of fines is all about us, hand written 'Fine 2000 baht' next to parking, smoking and littering warnings are plentiful. Nearly as abundant as foreign scofflaws!
The OP does not really say anything of the sort......
Mind you, with the UK talking about power black outs in winter.. on top of the high bills, Thailand looks like a good idea... even Phuket.
For me 'including' certainly does not make it ten, 'excluding' would have been used surely. Amusing they felt the need to tell us what types of vehicles they were, moreso if a few Hi-So vehicles had been among them!
Not struggle, simply those who would also live meagre lives by turning on that heating. I think there is likely a sector of people who have sufficient funds to live here... and immediately be living a better standard of living. I compare Pattaya to Blackpool or Rhyl, no contest.
You had better move or take effective action on standing water and plants where these mosquitoes live. Nets to sleep under.... repellant when out and about. The issue being in an area where there are infected mosquitoes....
Thanks.... I absolutely hate getting stuck in these snake queues, hot and uncomfortable, wondering if I should be in another queue or whether 12 month extension renewals need not be in them at all. Is it worth 10,000 baht to avoid all this!
With inflation in the UK at 10%, a good proportion of that being energy/ fertilizer inflation feeding through to food and drinks costs, becoming a snowbird or even an Expat is attractive.... If flight costs permit it! (Better move quick before the oil protesters stop people flying anywhere!).
Most Expats will admit that cost of living is a serious factor for being here.... I am one of them.
Got a report from a pal who did his extension Tuesday.... yes he said it was busy but no surprises and it got done efficiently. He is disabled and they make special effort for him.
Which bank is this......?
My recollection was I have always had to pay for using out of province ATM machines. Some years back the banks allowed a limited number of withdrawals from other bank's machines in the same region (don't think it was Province wide), prior to that there was a charge.
The O Visa you get within Thailand is a 0 entry ... simply a conversion of your Visa Exempt or Tourist Visa entry to a 90 day Non-Imm O (already stamped used).
