If he has being in thailand a long time he should know when not to pick a fight or agruement.A traffic accident is one and probadly saying it was your fault as the farang.Better to walk away and sort it quietly instead u got attacked I had a accident minor damage to my bike and tuk tuk, never going to win the battle.I know the tuk tuk was as fault but i can do nothing police called i paid up.Nothing i can do and the thais seeing the accident said nothing but knew i did no wrong. If they was a chance i win then i would have tried but i know i was fighting a losing battle and the tuk tuk driver got one over another farang. The bamboo wind was fast too and everyone knew what happened after round town

Thailand raises retirement age to 65 for all sectors
bristolgeoff replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
They are only following other countries and others are raising it higher now.I believe aust is 69 or 70 now.Greece was 50 or 55 before the eu stepped in and told them what to do.But 65 is starting age for most countries.I believe the US can be 65 or 70 for better benefits. So thailand is just following the trend, maybe the younger people in time will have the age set at 75 who knows -
Thailand pumps the brakes on private sector traffic perks
bristolgeoff replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
We all know traffic is bad in bkk and other areas. a charge is allready in place for motorway traffic which a taxi passes onto the customer or car owner pays for a quicker drive time.I think they see what happens in the west and other cities. as a money earning scheme like london or paris and parking permits are easy money for who is in control of the city.Ask a londoner what they think of the mayor and they will tell u quickly .Only the cyclist or a certain group think khan is good -
