I have bought several used cars here in Thailand and the following is what i do. As soon as i am interested in a car i ask if it has a service(dealer) book,if not i pass. If there is a book and the car has been serviced at the dealership you can get all service information from the dealer. Another way is go to Toyota Sure,they only sell second hand but young Toyota cars and will place a warranty on what they sell.You may pay a bit more but you get peace of mind. Or you could ask your friends if they have a lead.

The big question is 'is the government ready for the next generation? Will the walls be high enough and will they have enough armored vehicles? I guess time will tell but at some point the young people will have had enough and (force fully) will demand long over due changes. I can not say i blame them.

Looks to me the XRM has a longer front fork so probably will not bottom out so much. Also slightly wider handle bars will make riding a lot more comfortable. I have 50/50 tires on my Yamaha and that does very well in dry sand and also in mud gives me enough traction. What i do not like about the CT125 is the way the exhaust is fitted. No room for saddle bags ans my pipes would also be a nono.

The Yamaha is a great bike but off road i would like to have a little bit more clearance and the front shocks bottom out .

Well over ten yaers ago while in the Philippines i saw a Honda XRM,great looking bike and i was going to get one of those but guess what? Not available in Thailand. Now finally in Thailand they are coming up with some crossover small bikes. I would really want one for going camping because they look pretty rugged and they have great specs. A new one is going to be too expensive for me so i am hoping to find a second hand one in a year or two. The first picture is of the Honda in the Phillies. The last picture is of the bike i use now.

Years ago had my Honda Shadow parked in front of Big C on my way North. Some little kid jumped on my bike and started playing with all the buttons and going full speed of course. I ignored it and when i came back the kid was gone and my throttle cable broken.
