That’s insane and OTT. You can’t live life like that.
You're not going to have a choice. Countries are closing their borders and putting in restrictions. You're not going to be able to go anywhere. Governments will tell how you're going to live your life and there is not one damn thing you can do about it.

As it is now most airlines have reduced or completely stopped flights to many destinations. If all countries close borders there will be no more flights and no one will be able to return home.....
Which is why everyone needs to look around and decide if they're located in a spot where they want to spend the next 2 to 6 months. Otherwise, move heaven and earth to get to where you want to be right this minute.

Seems a good move. But exempt tobacconists? If anything contributes to the problem, tobacco does.

China cleaner than India? That makes China the tallest midget.

Thailand isn't a hotbed of Covid-19, it's a sanctuary from it.
If you're right, we're damn lucky indeed. But I think we're about to get hammered.

That's herd immunity. Based on this idea, at the moment the govt wants people to get infected, up until hospitals begin to reach capacity. At that they want to reduce, but not stop infection rate. Ideally they balance it so the numbers entering hospital = the number leaving.
How about the risk that a sizable percentage of the people who "recover" come out with lung damage? This is a crazy idea. https://nypost.com/2020/03/13/coronavirus-survivors-may-suffer-from-reduced-lung-function/

Sorry still confused . Looking for a yes or no answer.
I'm still confused, too. But putting together the info from the US Embassy and the Thai MOPH, it seems that the health document is only needed for "Disease Infected Zones," not "Countries with Local Transmission." Hard to tell. I just tried to get what info I could from both sources. It's confusing. And still no idea about just who is required to have proof of the US$100,000 health insurance.

Different rules apparently for people arriving into Thailand from "Disease Infected Zones" and "Country with Local Transmission."

Leaving for the states from Bangkok in the morning. And returning in three weeks. Does this mean a paper is needed to leave the country. And i need something from a doctor in the states to return?

More and better information here. One case is a Bangkok University student and another is a Mahidol University student. https://www.thaipbsworld.com/thailand-reports-7-new-covid-19-cases-including-a-tv-celebrity/

Something has gone wrong with it already. Yesterday, there were scores of cases highlighted and you could click on them and see the details. Today, it shows only 8 cases in Thailand. Yesterday, there were four cases within 3 km of me. Today, there are zero. Verdict: Untrustworthy.

Trump: "Google will develop a website which will be build much more quickly than websites in the past."
Yes, he has outsourced government emergency response to CEOs from Google, CVS, Walgreen, Wal-Mart, and Target. How much money will they get? They've already been given a free advertisement for their companies from in front of the White House. And they got at least twice as much time in front of the camera than the experts he had around him.

Trump: "I am officially declaring a national emergency. Two very big words!"
We will have the bestest, most yuge national emergency, evah!
-------------------------------------
"Some doctors say it will wash through, flow through."
Sure, the virus will all be done and over in a few weeks! He thinks he was right in the first place to dismiss it.

I'm guessing Tsar Nicholas thought the same way about his people. I know Marie Antoinette did about hers.

Thailand would have fallen to the communist after WWII if it had not been for the U.S.
During the 1950s, when the Chinese were threatening to overrun Laos, it was thought by the Eisenhower administration that they might want to sweep all the way through Thailand. In fact, provisions were made for an emergency airlift to evacuate a certain important family in Thailand (as well as one in Laos).

i think you will find that the tv is a uk invention.
No, it wasn't. It's American. You're thinking of the dead end technology for mechanical television based on a German inventor's Nipkow's disk. Electronic television was invented by Philo T. Farnsworth.

Make sure u take ur shower before going.back , I've seen ur dirty lot on kaosan road being so dirty, shower once a week.
You seem to have a particular concern with showering. Do you stand in a waterfall or do you use a mechanical shower, invented in England? Do you use soap, another Western innovation, or seeds and potash like the Chinese did? Do you use running water drained into a public sewer, another Roman innovation? How about drying your hair? Do you use electricity, whose understanding and application to modern use was achieved in the West? Perhaps you should rest from writing on your iPhone or computer (Western inventions) and posting to the Internet (western invention) and take some time off and watch television (American invention). It's hot today, so you might want to use the aircon--and thank an American, Willis Carrier. Your life would be so much better without us, wouldn't it?

Because your countries are also make racist comments toward other nationalities, so the minister is right and I'm happy he made the comments, pls let the animals go and shower, your lot hardly shower.
From wiki:
The first mechanical shower, operated by a hand pump, was patented in England in 1767 by William Feetham, a stove maker from Ludgate Hill in London. His shower contraption used a pump to force the water into a vessel above the user's head and a chain would then be pulled to release the water from the vessel. . . . This early start was greatly improved in the anonymously invented English Regency shower design of circa 1810 (there is some ambiguity among the sources).[3] The original design was over 10 feet (3 m) tall, and was made of several metal pipes painted to look like bamboo. A basin suspended above the pipes fed water into a nozzle that distributed the water over the user's shoulders.

Many Asian countries. Case in point: wet markets with meat rotting on the table in the open. Don't see many of those in 1st world.
If you did, it would be shut down by city, county, state, and federal health authorities in the US. The same way zoning laws prohibit neighborhoods zoned for single unit or multi-family housing from raising chickens or other farmyard animals in their backyards. Oh, what's that? I hear the rooster crowing two houses down in my suburban Bangkok village.
