Install windows 11 while disconnected from the network. Dont need an account to install.
You can only do that now if you use the workaround that I posted above. I just did a fresh install of Win 11 using a USB stick that was created by the MS Media Creation Tool and the "I don't have internet" option is not there anymore for the Pro version.

I doubt it.
Might be baloney.
IF I were to buy a license, then I would buy from Microsoft.
But then, I might also buy a Dog Collar from M$, as a gift with purchase.
There are many bogus offerings floating around, which are not the real deal.
I would not pay a penny for anything not confirmed from Microsoft.
As Barnum once said.....
You are a SUCKER.....when something is just too good to be true.
You're the sucker if you pay big bucks to Microsoft for a Retail product key instead of a cheap OEM key from the internet.
If you don't know what an OEM key is then Google it.
At any rate, even if the product key I bought from that website is a recycled one, it makes no difference because my current Windows install is showing as Activated and everything is working as expected.
You have to type the product key in manually you know, there's no crack or keygen program involved ergo zero risk of virus or malware.

And, also, I cannot afford the big bucks for Windows 11, PRO.
Also, I do not like the fact that Windows 11 requires some sort of SIGN-IN.
You can get a Win 11 Pro OEM license for next to nothing. I bought a Win 10 Pro license from this mob in Dec 2020 and it's still working, even after I upgraded to Win 11 and did multiple fresh re-installs.

You can install Win 11 using a local account very easily, just follow the instructions in this article:

No, that wasn’t a fair election.
But the conscription to Ukraine is voluntary now. If you will bother to check the facts.
Conscription by definition is compulsory, ie. not voluntary. I think you mean "enlistment" or "recruitment" into the Russian Army.

Nice run Monsieur, too bad you got caught because those Canadienne winters are really going to hurt after that long in the tropics.
I suppose he'll try Cambodge next, if they'll let him in with his 10-year ban from Thailand.

You forgot the "Brazilian" part of the acronym. Apparently it's different to the original Japanese JJ.

Back in the early 80's as a young sex tourist the Night Owl column was my only source of bar news back in Oz in between trips.
I had the pleasure of meeting Bernard in the Crown Royale (PP2) one afternoon. I was introduced to him by an old long gone Kiwi mate who appeared in a movie made at the time (in Thailand) called "COMEBACK" also starring Michael Landon.
Back then a lot of the regulars used to rotate between the Madrid and the Crown Royale between lunchtime and sunset. When I was in town I'd mingle with them, hearing all the old stories of Patpong.... also met Neil Davis, an Aussie journo who was shot and killed in a coup in Bangkok mid 80's. His photo used to be on the wall in the GRAND PRIX BAR back in the day.
In the small Soi linking PP1 and PP2 opposite the Crowne Royale used to be the SUPERSTAR BEER GARDEN, we'd often stop by there during afternoon happy hour (Amarit Draft 30 baht glass) and watch a video movie as well as the passing parade.
Trink would occasionally stroll past some afternoons with friends enroute to either Madrid or Crowne Royale.
Great memories.
Did the Crown Royal stink of mothballs back then? Or whatever those small white balls they use to deodorise the toilet are?
I only discovered the place in early 2022 after I retired and moved here versus being a backpacker/tourist in the late '90s-early '00s.
Been there a few times since then and it's always dead quiet, no other customers. They charge 140B for a small Heineken now so I probably won't go back there again unless an old Patpong hand is ringing the bell 😉
Never got to see the Madrid or any of the other old names. It's a wasteland now, not sure why the family don't bulldoze the place and put up a shopping mall or something.

Shirley you're better off asking this question in the main LTR thread?

Ever thought of making your Desktop-PC dual-bootable?
Then youd'd have a choice between Windows and Linux
Yes I've done that a few times after hearing all the hype about how awesome Linux is and how terrible Windoze is.
I gave up after a few trials with different distros because all of them struggled with multiple displays (laptop + HDTV) and none of them could send audio to the TV.
Linux forums were useless, I spent hours searching for a solution to no avail.
Also couldn't get the VPN to work properly; there's no in-built functionality for kill switch or auto-resume after a dropout. Any potential solutions were programmer gibeerish and not worth my time.
I took great pleasure in deleting the last Linux install, removing that annoying Grub bootloader and reverting to Winblows or M$ or whatever pejorative is in vogue with the haters 😂

Thank you all for correcting my math and taking away my "typo" excuse... still allot of bills to fold
It's not that big, you could easily fit this lot into one of those big fanny packs or a man bag if you have one.

I live in Bangkok. There was a smell of burning the other night and there was a horrid chemical smell a few nights ago after the rain, can't remember the exact day.

I've used Linux and it isn't all that it's cracked up to be. I can't stand it and would rather wait hours for a Windows update to install than have to go on to a Linux forum to find a solution to a basic problem only to find that one doesn't exist unless you're a computer programmer.
Way back when I had a Dell XPS laptop and a Panasonic Viera HD LED TV. Windows had no trouble sending video and audio to the TV but neither Ubuntu nor Linux Mint could send audio to the telly.
Hours of searching on Linux forums yielded no viable solutions, only the usual "Linux good, proprietary bad" nonsense, and useless tips like "is Alsa mixer" installed.
Another time I was running Linux Mint in VM and one day when I tried to log in I just got a blank screen instead of the login page. Again, hours of searching on Linux forums to no avail so I had to bin the install and start again.
I gave up after that, too much drama and too much messing about in the old-timey terminal. Windows sucks but Linux sucks worse.

I've noticed this too and yes it probably is contempt (or apathy) born of familiarity. Then again, I feel the same way about a lot of the wait staff at my regular watering holes; I wish they'd bloody up and leave so a prettier, friendlier one can take their place.

I replied earlier and asked if you meant the Sleazy but that was in Soi Yamato. At that time the main one in Soi Post would have been the Vegas. Went there a few times after a few in the Dogs B.
I only knew the Hot and Cold on Yamato, just down from 2nd Road. I think it was the Nevada where I first heard that expression, way back when it was the Las Vegas.

Removing shoes signifies a gesture of politeness, cultural awareness, and respect for the local community. It's not so much about the cleanliness.
You sound like a Thai going to the UK and refusing to shake hands.
<deleted>, it's so they (rightly) don't have to mop the floor a hundred times a day. Ekspecially if they've got a shiny white tiled floor, that shows up the dirt like nobody's business.

Windows beats Linux because even though it sucks, Linux sucks worse for the average user. And yes, I have used Linsux many times and not just as a casual user.
I'm not going to provide any examples because the last time I did you came up with a flippant response along the lines of "Linux is easily customisable" when is is in fact not, unless you are a computer programmer.
Hint: it was about how after hours of searching I couldn't come up with a simple Linux equivalent of Core Temp.
You failed to provide a solution other than "Linux is good, mmmkay?".

Well I did it last week too and I had to force the offline install option via the command line. Another case of YMMV I guess.
