Very sad,  I live on that Soi, a dangerous little stretch of road with no footpaths.   Tragedy all the time round Pattaya with accidents,  RIP.

There is a footpath in the video, and even though the motor bikes take up so much of that space, there is a narrow track behind them. Seems like they carelessly trod the wider path .... on the road.  Doesnt mean the driver can hit and run. 😟

    Sad sad sad.

  2. Remember the old saying?   "If its rocking dont bother knocking" but seriously though:- someone said its a breach of privacy to film it.  Really this is not privacy, and its not the other extreme as the recent public sex news on the beach.  Yup I reckon I'll go along with indecent public behaviour, but indecent to film it.

No, no one has stated that its OK to hit woman .

We all agree that its wrong to hit woman

All agree?? The supposed gentler sex can be and too often are the most horrible creatures that ever took breath, yet they can manipulate on that, so why raise a gender based bias and holding them up on a pedistal?      E.g. take the case of a smaller male slapping a big horrible female.  BUT:- surely no gender deserved that drunken slap, yet it happened, and they got an instant bar-based response.

There is, most probably, more to the story... 😉

Yes probably? and could it have been their dislike of not a woman but a ladyboy?

Regardless, the slap wasn't justified and they got their just deserts.

Who would want to hang out in those areas anyway? anywhere in the world? Any gender?

Wow 6 pages of posts already.  and someone posted > "what they needed was behaviour guidance"  . Yup and they got it instantly.

Everything Chinese is substandard apart from their phones

Yes Proton, right down to a $60 battery operated brush cutter I bought. I didnt really believe the ad but was far inferior when probing, like the tragic rebar here.

Claimed to be 7500Watts, 36V, 2000m/ah battery, 20,000 rpm but is actually:-

                              30 Watts,     18V, 1200m/ah battery, 10.000 rpm.

    Beware of this gutless product.

It didnt collapse exposing the truth like the building. The motor burnt out and then was dismantled.      How do we NOT buy Chinese? buy - made in Thailand ! My Mitshubishi big aircon and Toyota are excellent.

P.S. one wonders about the building inspectors re the rebar.

What a load of utter twaddle  (re someone's claim Songkran being a drunken event)

    Yes he was drunk.

    Yes he had been participating

Yes >   "Probation Department Reports 1,472 Drink-Driving Cases in First Three Days of Songkran"

Stay away from Songkran, especially on motor bikes.

  7. Read once that readings of Total Disolved Solids above 500 parts per million were unfit for human consumption according to the W.H.O.

Above 150 is enough for me.  Someone said depends what the solids are. Yup, and the internet shows many variations on acceptable levels.

Be thankful there might be chlorine present for sanitising and just need to leave water in open bottles for a day or two for it to evaporate.

There are filters and there are filters and a Total Disolved Solids  meter sure sorts them out.

Some bottled water is distilled and 3 PPM  but that subject will raise the ire of some purists.
