  1. MORCH... The hullabaloo about lead-adulterated tumeric (from some countries) poisioning people may have been unfounded propaganda and fake backup by self proclaimed experts. Hasn't killed me in my 120 years. :wai:

The strict food analysts world wide dont seem to have warned about it.

The heading that Turmeric is the culprit is misleading.

Take that probable B.S. with a "grain of salt".

BPH is nto an inflammatory condition.

You may be confusing it with prostatitis, which is inflammatory (and often an infection)

Well the anti inflammatory effects of the tumeric combo helps my diagnosed BPH. Stop it for 2 weeks then have the reduced flow again.  Whatever.. it works thanks kindly Sheryl.

  3. To quickly reduce BPH try 1/2 desertspoon of turmeric plus 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper in 1/2 glass water. Daily.  Incredible systemic anti inflammatory.

Combination is synergistic, multiplying the Turmeric efficacy, and ejaculate as often as applicable.

Do get checked it is not a cancerous prostate.

Be wary of mechanical and drug interventions. Finger massage? dunno. Maybe not needed.

Even urologist's digital exploration has limited access to the complete circumference of the gland.     Anal ultrasound preferred option?

You didn't mention your PSA rating, which is only a partial indication anyway.

If cancer or not, take the harmless anti inflammatory.

How do I know? Been there, done that, 30 years now, and living a comfortable life with a flow like a horse.    Well --- a small horse.

Dirk Z   This is not amateur expert opinion. My Urologist said 30 years ago to stop his medication and keep doing what I was doing.

Scubascuba3 is on track. Many medical specialists know limited options.

  4. A key point is the sensing distance. Mine is about 8 or 9 metres and takes 4 still pics  each trigger. Not sure about the video length,

It is a NEXTECH, model qc-8051,    is 4K,  quite expensive and the 8 x AA alkalaine cells last really well, like 5000 pics? or 8 days of being switched on with thousands of pics. roughly.

Sometimes there are at least 800 pics at 1.4mb pics each on the 128gb SD card I had handy to install.

Under some conditions the temporary dull glow from a 65 x 40 square of red I/R? LEDS could be a giveaway during dark hours if the human intruders were looking that way.     Screw thread to a small swivel,  mounted on a brick.

Really happy with mine. Cropped pic triggered from 10 m.

  5. There's so much B.S. around so if you believe there's Lead Chromate in Turmeric from some sources so be it, but its NOT the "tumeric that's killing people".  With current quality control of imports, this is probably just more internet B.S.     Others are intimating:-  check out the supply country. The negative publicity could be originating from a competitive country or just the typical sick bikkies out there.

N.B. The synergistic effect of a small amount of black pepper on Turmeric is well founded as trialled by an Indian scientist in USA  some years back, and a UK pharma company actually acknowledged Turmeric's  efficacy re colon cancer management.  Try it for mild prostate inflamtion and see if you too have a flow like a horse.    Well  - - a small horse.😉

"Keeps" K mentioned Ginger tea which is proably a fairly close relative of Turmeric.

  6. The smart watch I bought supposedly read several things including blood pressure.!!!   Gotta be a gimmick the way its supposed to be read. The heart rate? mmmm maybe, the temperature? Mmmm maybe, but then I put it on the table and it had the same results, then a block of ice and had the same results. Contacted the seller who cancelld the transaction no questions asked, and refunded within 5 minutes so I was unable to write a bad report.   Like others say, do it properly at home with a proper device.

  7. A good option that may be a bit slower to charge its own internal battery is one like this:- 20000mAh Portable Solar Power Bank External Battery Dual USB Phone Charger.    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/275499624268?hash=item40250ea74c:g:AUYAAOSwVFhjSU4t&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwFSwSOJ3fklE6VDbzzuRE1tN%2BymO3tLsAO6zK7t5i4csgE86JDzPWarnHbBrMUW3ZPKeglqjuSAhid1xKkrsrSb3hPGqVMdWvblpR7SP92o4F0TpX9HcpnXujlY4yWY0y7ba8oxz1icqVA64p20N4uZyc5tanSAJfKWqkrhxLGKAF091mN%2F1LrVIJEb%2BZTVcd2Kz8TJDZaFOwk0LbiYcSqt3ebNJiCL6b6eQRuKTfcTn9VboP%2F3QsQ4eEZPjo4meEA%3D%3D|tkp%3ABlBMUKzugcDsYg

Maybe not too quick to charge its internal battery in the sun but very suitable to charge your phone after dark.      Cheap enough to get 2 or more?

Beware, one brand claims to have a 500000mAh battery. That's 500 Watts! Total B.S.

  8. To start the ball rolling, the small wall power pack chargers for phones etc are usually about 10 watts capability (i.e. is 5V x 2A = 10W), and 10Watt solar panels are very roughly about 20cm x 20cm?  but never connect/plug e.g. a solar panel directly to a phone etc. be they 12v or any other voltage

You need to google for a complete purpose built device, (and be very suspicious about their power claims), or connect a 12v panel to a 5V voltage regulator, or wait for experienced others to reply here.

My phone in charging 5V x 1.2 Amps, as measured, as I type. Too many Lithium batteries in other equipment have failed because of cheap chargers that over charge, but maybe not phones that cease automatically when charged?

  9. Eric Loh just wrote:- "The transition to EV cars is inevitable and soon will be a regular way of life" etc

Oh yes! so turn back the hands of time when the first rail steam engine that "breathed fire" was so badly thought of in so many ways.   History repeating its self??

Then later wasn't the first speed record in an E.V. not an I.C.E. ?

And VincentRJ just authoritively quoted:- "I.C.E. vehicles convert about 17-21 percent of energy  to moving it  etc",     so think about the 80c per $ wasted mostly in heat.

C'mon people, think of solutions instead of unfounded unproductive negativity and realize Eric's "inevitability" above wont evolve from your present thinking.

  10. HenryFord said:- - "those photos of cars charging on the street are a joke. In London those cables would be stolen the first night. "

Sooo many ignorant bystanders are a joke and continue to offer ill advice and opinions.!!!

The charging port plugs are locked as Bandersnatch says.

Regardless, who would be brave enough to cut the live cable even to steal the few metres of copper wire? because thats all they would get, if they survived.

  11. Hope the mods dont delete his post as Bangkok Barry suggested.

Let the truth come out. It's in our face that he's off his face, and how many thousands like that are driving on our roads?   Didn't Thailand already have one of the worst road casualty rates?
