Only one-way arrival ticket on Thailand Pass, looks like the eVisa site wants Round-trip for the 60 day tourist visa.
complete the eVisa first before the Thailand Pass is what I am thinking?

I had non-OA from US in 2019 and got extension for 2020 that was never used of course.
I'd like to come back and would prefer multiple entry if possible, I'd like to be able to leave Thailand now and then. I probably will not be there full time, a few months a couple times a year.
the STV looked even harder to get than the Non-OA, or better yet an O when I arrive like you were saying?
on the LA thaiconsulate site for the non-OA they are saying "– an income certificate (an original copy) with a monthly income of not less than 65,000 Baht"
I do have a monthly pension that meets that. doesn't have to be deposited? I doubt that...
I have an account at Bangkok Bank and can put 800k in there if needed.
30 day Thailand pass is making more sense. probably around Dec 1st, let the dust settle a bit.
thanks for your time

No go. I changed everything in Region and Language to English and still get this message.
Any insight on this?
Thanks

after a few days of cleaning and getting the old Win 8 laptop ready, ran into roadblock.
doing all this remotely, or I would just format and install Windows 10.
Thai Win 8 OS doesn't like the English Media Creation Tool I guess.
Thanks for any ideas.
Edit: going to try this in the morning:
3. Click "Administrative" Tap then click "change system locale"
4. Choose United State if you want English (US). Then. click OK and restart your computer
5. Update your windows again, using Media Creation Tool
6. Choose Update This PC Now Then, follow the step in the windows 10 installation.
7. Your new Windows 10 will have English as a display language.

I returned from Vietnam on Dec 19th, with my still valid non-imm o-a from US and they didn't stamp me 30 days for insurance.
i did the tm.8 multiple re-entry at immigration and I have Dec 17th 2020 in the passport. (the day I departed for Vietnam).
thanks again for all the help.
-
I just hope they do not stamp me 30 days for health insurance when I return from Vietnam.
Thanks again to everyone, huge help.

great, thanks again. I guess the 800k/health insurance would be if applying for extension in Dec 2020?
-
Thank you, I am only going to Vietnam for 4 days, retuning in Dec 2019, so since my original OA is still valid when I return I will be stamped that date. when I leave for US and return after original O-A expiration date, that is when the TM.8 would be important? sorry, this is just so confusing.
-
Thank you very much for this. I will definitely do the TM.8 before leaving. didn't realize this could go until Oct 2021.
The only thing that i am trying to figure is my 4 day turnaround to Vietnam next week, before I leave Thailand the end of December. Would i want to do the multiple re-entry before the Vietnam trip?
-
I just got back from Immigration and she showed me that I have a stamp in my passport until Oct 28th 2020. I had no idea that was there.
so a re-entry is not an "extension"? she said I would need the money in the bank when getting extension. (I assume past the Oct 28th 2020 stamp in my passport)
I would do a multiple re-entry.

I am US citizen in Thailand on non-imm o-a that expires Feb 11th 2020
I will most likely leave end of December 2019 and return approximately June-Sept 2020.
If a re-entry is not possible on same visa, would another O-A not be worth it for 4 month stay?
the 800k in bank is only for O-A renewal/extension?
I may go to Vietnam and come back this month, not sure that would matter on re-entry.
thank you for any help.

yes, US citizen. I had one a few years ago before they started doing the 30-day eVisas. I got mine on entry at the time. needed US currency.

Thanks for that. I'll definitely go to Immigration and see about getting it in my new passport.
Probably in Bangkok unless somewhere else would be better? Jomtien etc.
-
yes! that is it.

do I need health insurance?
just kidding!! ????
Thanks again

luckily someone replied to my email, I was ready to get a new one. two passports in tow!

so even tho my old passport has holes stamped in it, the Visa is still valid it looks like. thanks for that.
I noticed the Visa itself doesn't have any holes stamped.

e-visa has always worked for me. 3 days usually, once it took 7 days, I would advise doing early.
I do not see Dalat airport as an entry point. I wonder if the 1-year multiple entry visa would allow that?
I also do not want a bunch of full-page visas, I had to get a new passport after those filled half of mine.
-
I had to get a new US passport since mine was full. I took my old and new passports to the consulate in US and they said I needed to start over for an OA in my new passport.
my O-A is 4 months old and I am in the states at the moment.
someone else at the consulate said to just bring both passports and show the valid OA in the old passport. I may just go on this and see how things go.

I have an email from them if needed, it's not easy. PM me for that.

Poco doesn't have US LTE bands. I need it all! dual-SIM, great camera.

E-visa has been super easy for me. Takes 3 days and $25. Good for 30 days.

I have 3 jabs from two US states on one card, I have a smartheath.cards QR code on the Docket App on my phone from my current state.
https://smarthealth.cards/
should I make a JPEG of everything, a screenshot of the QR code *and* the paper card?
does the TP site only allow one JPEG to be uploaded?
