  1.

DanaDeLuxe.  Sorry could you elaborate.  When you say that the antihistamines and the other application were deal breakers are you saying that these were total cures?  Thanks.

  2. Aussieexpat  Yes, true, its not fresh news but don't knock it as a useful and timely reminder.  I for one was still unsure about the need for the $10,000 US dollar insurance.  Now its been clarified for me as I have a ticket to return to Thailand next month. Just saying

  3. I want to ask Ubon Joe about my problem obtaining satisfactory health insurance at 77 years for re-entry.  I have a Non-O recently renewed 1 year Visa based on 800K in the bank method.  I want to go back to the UK in May month and return to Thailand in August. this year.  I am hesitating to apply for re-entry permit which will require me to have valid insurance for $20,000 USD up to 31st January, 2023.

Should I let the Non-O lapse by foregoing re-entry permits and enter back on 30 day Visa-exempt then reapply for Non-O Retirement during the 30 days or is that too messy.    I will continue to leave the 800K in the bank untouched. Thanks in anticipation.

  4. Ubon Joe.  I always find your reports very clear.  I shall return to UK in May this year after being in Thailand since August, 2019 due to Covid only.  I have the one year Retirement Non-O but at 77 years struggling to get Insurance I think maybe I should not do a re-entry permit and let the Non-O become

void.  In England then, later in the year, I could do the 30 day Covid 19 tga.org and come back on Visa Exempt showing the Insurance cover for the length of my initial stay.  Once here then I have some of the options outlined in these postings.  What do you think ?  Thanks in anticipation
