Rory McIlroy says he will play on the PGA Tour "for the rest of my career" as he quashed rumours of him making a big-money move to LIV Golf.
A report by City AM on Sunday said the four-time major winner had been offered $850m (£683m) to join the Saudi Arabian-backed circuit.
But McIlroy dismissed the report in an interview with Golf Channel, external on Tuesday.
"I honestly don't know how these things get started," said the Northern Irishman, 34.
"I've never been offered a number from LIV and have never contemplated going to LIV."
McIlroy has been one of LIV Golf's most vocal critics since the breakaway tour was launched in 2022.
However, he admitted to feeling like a "sacrificial lamb" after a framework agreement between the PGA Tour and the Public Investment Fund, which funds LIV, was announced in June last year.
'My future is on PGA Tour and it's never been any different'
But while LIV managed to add McIlroy's Ryder Cup team-mates Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton to its ranks for the 2024 season, the world number two has reiterated that his future remains on the PGA Tour.
"I think I've made it clear over the past two years that I don't think it's something for me," McIlroy added of LIV.
"It doesn't mean I judge people that have went and played over there. I think one of the things I've realised over the past two years is people can make their own decisions for whatever they think is best for themselves. Who are we to judge them for that?
"For me, my future is here on the PGA Tour and it's never been any different."
He added: "It's never even been a conversation for us. It's one of those things, it's unfortunate that we have to deal with it but I'm obviously here today and I'm playing this PGA Tour event next week and will play the PGA Tour for the rest of my career."

Undisputed light-welterweight champion Katie Taylor's rematch with Amanda Serrano will take place in Texas on 20 July.
Taylor, 37, defeated Serrano via split decision in an all-time lightweight classic two years ago.
Taylor is now undisputed champion at light-welterweight and Serrano steps up in weight again to face the Irishwoman.
The highly anticipated rematch will be the co-main event to Jake Paul v Mike Tyson at Dallas' AT&T Stadium.
"This is the rematch the world has wanted to see," said Taylor.
"The first fight in New York was obviously an epic occasion and it more than lived up to the billing, and I'm sure the rematch will be no different."
Taylor moved up to light-welterweight after beating Serrano, suffering her first ever loss to Chantelle Cameron in May 2023 before avenging the defeat last November.
The win over Cameron saw Taylor become a two-weight undisputed champion, having also achieved the feat at lightweight.
After losing to Taylor, 35-year-old Serrano subsequently became undisputed champion at featherweight and has won four fights in a row.
The Taylor defeat was only the second loss of Serrano's career and the seven-division world champion held the WBO light-welterweight belt in 2018.
Serrano relinquished her WBC featherweight title last year in order to fight in 12, three-minute rounds but has decided to resume fighting at 10, two-minute rounds to face Taylor.
"I promised my fans they would see this rematch after we made history at MSG and it feels like a dream come true to know that Katie and I are finally making it happen on the biggest stage possible to show the world what elite women's boxing is all about," said Serrano.
"While my focus continues to be on giving women the choice to fight with the same rules as men, I've always said that this is the one fight I'd go back to 10x2 for."

After seventh months and a dramatic final day, the NBA's regular season is over and all eyes turn to the play-offs.
Twelve teams have booked their spots, but the final four places will be settled by the play-in tournament, which starts on Tuesday and features the likes of LeBron James' Los Angeles Lakers and Steph Curry's Golden State Warriors.

The Olympic torch is being lit in Greece on Tuesday, ahead of its journey to Paris for the start of the Games on 26 July.
Security has become a major concern for the French government, and plans for the opening ceremony are being reconsidered.
When are the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games?
The summer Olympics are from 26 July to 11 August, with 10,500 athletes competing in 329 events.
The Paralympics run from 28 August to 8 September, featuring 4,400 athletes in 549 events.
There will be 206 countries represented at the Olympics, and 184 at the Paralympics.
More than 15 million tourists are expected in Paris during the Games.
Where will Olympic and Paralympic events take place?
The main athletics events will be held at the Stade de France, on the outskirts of Paris.
However, there will be 15 Olympic and 11 Paralympic venues in central Paris. For example, the Pont d'Iena will host cycling events and the start and finish points for the marathon will be at the Hotel de Ville and Les Invalides.
How are France's security forces preparing for the Olympics?
Worried about threats such as a drone attack, the government has cut spectator numbers at the Olympic opening ceremony.
The event is expected to see the national teams parading in boats along a 6km (3.8 mile) stretch of the River Seine through central Paris.
The original plan was for an estimated 600,000 members of the public to watch from the banks.
However, the government now says only 300,000 invited guests will be allowed.

As we saw at Anfield and Emirates Stadium on Sunday, pressure does funny things at this stage of the season - even to the best players and teams.
No-one expected Liverpool and Arsenal to end up both being beaten this weekend, but I've been in their situation myself and this is what happens in a title run-in, especially in must-win games at home. If you don't score early, everyone gets very nervy.
So, I know it will have felt exactly the same for the Gunners, who were desperate to make the breakthrough against Aston Villa, as it did for Jurgen Klopp's side when they were left chasing their game after Crystal Palace went ahead.
On the pitch, players can hear the moans and the groans in the crowd after every wasted chance - or even a misplaced pass - the kind of things that no-one was too bothered about a few months ago.
It doesn't matter how strong your attack is normally, because when the ball suddenly won't go in the net it can start to feel like nothing is happening naturally or going for you in front of goal - and at the same time you get much edgier than usual every time the opposition gets into your final third.
The longer the game goes on like that the worse it gets, because you can hear more and more panic and desperation setting in. If you're the away team then you feel it too, and you know your plan is working.
Sunday's results show what this pressure can do to you, and it is why I have stuck with Manchester City in the past few weeks whenever I've been asked who I think will win the Premier League. I am not going to change my mind now.
Out of the three teams at the top City have the most experience of this scenario and they not only know what to expect, they also know how to deal with it when it happens.

When you get to the final part of the season one bad week can undo months of hard work - and Liverpool have just had a terrible week.

Derek Underwood, one of England and Kent's greatest ever bowlers, has died at the age of 78.
Slow left-armer Underwood took 297 wickets in 86 Tests between 1966 and 1982, the most by any England spinner.
He claimed 2,465 wickets in 676 first-class matches overall, representing only Kent, the county of his birth, in a stellar 24-year domestic career.
Underwood was appointed an MBE in 1981 and was president of the Marylebone Cricket Club in 2009.
He also took 32 wickets in 26 one-day internationals and would have represented England more but for joining World Series Cricket in 1977 and the rebel tour of South Africa in 1981-82.
Nicknamed 'Deadly', Underwood was one of 55 inaugural members inducted into the International Cricket Council Hall of Fame when it launched in 2009.
Kent Cricket chair Simon Philip said the club is "in mourning following the passing of one of its greatest ever players".
He added: "Derek was an outstanding contributor to both Kent and England, winning trophies for club and country and etching his name in the history books forevermore."
Known for his high level of accuracy, Underwood would often bowl much quicker than most spinners but was also able to deceive batters with variations of pace and length.
He was particularly challenging to face on uncovered pitches that had been affected by rain, his faster pace helping to skid the ball on to batters quickly, while also able to extract turn on surfaces starting to dry out.
"Watching Derek weave his unique magic on a wet wicket was a privilege for all who were able to witness it," added Philip.
"His induction into the ICC Hall of Fame shows the esteem in which he was held in world cricket.
"An advocate for growing our game worldwide whilst protecting our sport's rich heritage, Derek also made substantial contributions off the field as well as on it, and he will be sorely missed by everyone at Kent Cricket."
Underwood is sixth on England's Test wicket-takers list, having taken 42 more scalps than the next spinner and seventh overall, Graeme Swann.

Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa): To beat Arsenal took a superb team performance by Aston Villa from start to finish and it was a wonderful return to Emirates Stadium for manager Unai Emery. His team couldn't have performed any better than a 2-0 win away from home. As far as tactics go Aston Villa carried them out to the letter and it started with Emiliano Martinez.
Playing out from the back, and when Arsenal are pressing, you have to have nerves of steel. Martinez remained unshakeable throughout this entire fixture.
However, he is a goalkeeper first and foremost and when he was called on to produce something special he did precisely that. His point-blank save from Leandro Trossard at a crucial stage in the match was a turning point in the game and Villa never looked back. This is a team and a manager who look like they might be going places.
Fabian Schar (Newcastle): Fabian Schar should have been booked in the first few minutes against Tottenham for his tackle on Son Heung-min and so should Dan Burn for pulling back James Maddison. If referees are going to be lenient in the opening exchanges, and I detect more officials are giving players a little latitude, it should not be for deliberate or premeditated offences.
Let's not go back to the days when it was accepted a defender could have a free hit at a striker and the official would turn a blind eye. Having said that, the fixture was never in doubt once Newcastle realised that their visitors were never up for the battle. This was a poor show by Tottenham but an impressive performance in the end by Newcastle.
From his very first tackle, Schar was determined to leave an impression on the game and he did just that.
Joachim Andersen (Crystal Palace): To win at Anfield was a magnificent result for Crystal Palace and Joachim Andersen was at the heart of this victory for the Eagles. The Denmark international was outstanding alongside Nathaniel Clyne, Jefferson Lerma and Tyrick Mitchell, who between them kept an impressive clean sheet.
The result almost certainly means that Palace will now avoid being sucked into any sort of scrap with Everton, Nottingham Forest or Luton, who are all desperately trying to avoid relegation. Meanwhile, Liverpool's Mo Salah was well off the pace and has been for some time. Jurgen Klopp's team looked like the midweek defeat against Atalanta in the Europa League had taken too much out of them and they appeared to be running on fumes.
Whether Liverpool can recover from dropping points in their last two league fixtures and still mount a credible title challenge remains to be seen, but I think they may have blown it.
Josko Gvardiol (Manchester City): He scored his first goal for the club at the Bernabeu in the quarter-finals of the Champions League in midweek and then along came his first Premier League strike against Luton Town just four days later.
Both were quite superb, although the finish against Real Madrid would have carried far more significance. Nevertheless, the way the Croatia international has seamlessly slotted into the Manchester City set-up is incredibly impressive. Gvardiol's success since he burst into the team has given City options.
The full-back is as comfortable on the ball as Joao Cancelo was when he was occupying the position and seems just as capable of scoring goals. City, who went two points clear at the top of the table, now look ominous. With six league games left to play in the Premier League, a second Treble is still very much on the cards.
Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest): If Nottingham Forest are to stay in the Premier League this season they must keep Morgan Gibbs-White fit. He was their inspiration in the 2-2 draw against Wolves and his headed goal epitomised how the lad is not afraid to get in where it hurts in order to score goals.

Manchester City moved to the Premier League summit with a 5-1 win over Luton on Saturday and were handed a further advantage in the title race when Liverpool and Arsenal suffered surprise defeats on Sunday.
City sit two points clear, but with that margin separating three teams it remains the tightest title race at this stage of a season since 1998-99.
"What it means for the title race, I am not dumb. The answer is pretty easy," said Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp after his side's 1-0 defeat by Crystal Palace at Anfield.
Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice insisted he did not watch or even know the Liverpool score before the Gunners were beaten 2-0 by Aston Villa later on Sunday.
"I still think there will be plenty more twists and turns to go," Rice added.
"We're in a three-horse title race with two unbelievable sides but, as you've seen with other results today, the Premier League can throw up anything.
"Six finals to go in the Premier League and we'll give it everything."
Man City now firm favourites
Opta, with its 10,000 'supercomputer' simulations, believes Manchester City's dressing room is the place to be.

There have been a handful of three-way Premier League title races where the teams have been similarly close towards the end of a 38-game season.

Former Scotland striker John Robertson was responding to Ross County's first-ever win over their visitors from Glasgow.
Philippe Clement's Rangers headed to the Highlands with their eyes on maximum points from their two games in hand. They knew that winning Sunday's game and Wednesday's match at Dundee would take them top of the Scottish Premiership again by two points.
Instead, a 3-2 defeat leaves Rangers four adrift of the reigning champions and with games fast running out to overhaul their city rivals.
It now looks like Rangers will have to win the final Old Firm derby of the season - having already failed to beat Celtic on three occasions this season - to have any chance of a 56th Scottish title. And do so at Celtic Park.
Worst defensive display under Clement?
Then-leaders Rangers were let off the hook in early March when their last domestic slip-up, a home defeat by Motherwell, was followed the next day by Heart of Midlothian's victory over Celtic.
However, the warning signs were possibly there that Rangers' previous 11-game winning run masked an element of fragility.
Clement's side earned another reprieve last weekend when they gifted Celtic a 2-0 lead and also came from 3-2 behind to earn a draw that kept them a point behind but with a game in hand.

Andy Robertson insisted Liverpool will "keep fighting" despite their Premier League title hopes suffering a huge blow as they fell to a 1-0 defeat by Crystal Palace at Anfield.
Eberechi Eze converted from Tyrick Mitchell's cut-back to finish off a flowing Palace move early on and the visitors were deservedly in front at the break.
Jurgen Klopp's Reds ramped up the pressure in the second half but, just as in recent games against Manchester United and Atalanta, their finishing let them down as they lost at home in the league for the first time since October 2022.
Defeat leaves Liverpool two points behind leaders Manchester City and level on points with Arsenal, who were beaten 2-0 by Aston Villa in Sunday's late kick-off.
"I think we are always still in it. We are still there," Liverpool full-back Robertson told Sky Sports. "We will keep fighting, keep going to the end, and let's see where it gets us.
"With six games to go we will give it everything we have got. The problem is there's two world-class teams doing it as well and that's the difficult part."
Palace started brightly and led through Eze's well-worked opener, before a slip from Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk gave Jean-Philippe Mateta a golden opportunity to double their lead.
The striker was clean through and lifted his effort past the returning Alisson Becker but Scotland skipper Robertson sprinted back to hook the ball off the line.
Liverpool rallied and Wataru Endo struck the bar after Palace failed to deal with a corner before Dean Henderson made a fine reaction save to deny Luis Diaz.
Oliver Glasner's Palace retained a threat on the counter-attack until the break but were largely penned inside their own half in the second 45 minutes.
Henderson made another superb stop from Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota's close-range effort was blocked by Nathaniel Clyne with the goalkeeper nowhere to be seen and Curtis Jones somehow sliced wide when through on goal.

World number one Scottie Scheffler won the Masters for a second time after a commanding performance at Augusta National demonstrated why he was the red-hot pre-tournament favourite.
Scheffler, who led overnight by a shot, hit a four-under 68 in Sunday's final round to finish four clear on 11 under.
Sweden's Ludvig Aberg shot 69 to finish runner-up on his major debut.
England's Tommy Fleetwood (69) ended joint third with American pair Collin Morikawa (74) and Max Homa (73).
Fleetwood put together an impressive round to make a late charge up the leaderboard and record his best finish at the Masters.
But catching Scheffler was out of reach. The 27-year-old American showed rare emotion on the 18th green as he received the acclaim of the Augusta patrons after wrapping up his second Masters victory in three years.
There had been a possibility the 2022 champion might not even play the final round.
Scheffler's wife Meredith is due to give birth to their first child and the Texan said on Saturday he was prepared to leave Augusta mid-round if she went into labour on Sunday.
Addressing his wife during the Green Jacket presentation ceremony, Scheffler said: "I love you and I'm coming home. I'll be home as quick as I can."
He added: "I can't put into words what it is like to win here again and what it will be like to become a father for the first time."

Well, good luck with that attitude. You start that and expect to be put in your place by other passengers or probably by the cabin crew when the ruckus starts, they have the authority to remove you and your bag. from the plane if you cause problems, no matter how right you think you are.

Ireland's Conor McGregor will return after almost three years out against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in Las Vegas on 29 June.
Former two-weight champion McGregor, 35, has not fought since July 2021 and has lost his past two fights.
The UFC confirmed the welterweight bout with American Chandler following UFC 300 in Las Vegas on Saturday.
McGregor has 22 wins and six defeats in his MMA career, while 37-year-old Chandler is 23-8.
McGregor broke a leg in defeat by Poirier in his most recent fight in July 2021. He also lost to Poirier by second-round stoppage six months earlier.
McGregor has won only once since becoming the UFC's first simultaneous two-weight champion - at lightweight and featherweight - in 2016.
Chandler has been involved in some thrilling fights since moving from Bellator to the UFC in 2021, despite losing three of his five bouts.
He lost to then champion Charles Oliveira in his second UFC fight before defeats by Justin Gaethje and Poirier.
The McGregor-Chandler match-up was confirmed but no set date early last year, when they were opposing coaches in the UFC's Ultimate Fighter reality TV series.
