  1. Given the choice I wouldn't want to travel during this period but was asking as I may have to because of family concerns. Now I have a better understanding of the process. Thanks again DrJack.
  2. How many days after the application will I receive the approval? Asking as I'd like to make travel plans outside the kingdom and my understanding is I cannot travel while the application is in process til the time it's approved.
  3. My 60 day visa ends on the 25th of March. I already have 400k in the bank (deposited on the 15 of Dec), been there for about 40 days.. On the 25th of Feb it would reach the 2 month required. Can I with the current visa go to immigration on the 25th of Feb and start the application process? Do I need the 90 day stamp?
  4. DrJack, I did a border run and now have the TM6 with 2 months visa. I've got the bank account will read through the thread shared. You've been most helpful previously and now again. Thank you.
  5. Is it possible to start the Non O spouse application on a tourist visa instead of visa exempt visa?
  6. Thanks for the link, I got the 60 day extension covered. Now wanting confirmation that I can start the funds in bank process while on it. You been a great help. thanks again.
  7. Has anyone done the above. I just want some confirmation as I'm in the same boat.
  8. I'm using the term Non O Spouse visa and marriage visa the same? I'm assuming it is. I'm talking about the yearly visa. This is my fourth straight year with extensions on the marriage visa. As I couldn't raise the funds in time recently, I'm looking for options. If I understand correctly, I can request a 60 day extension before the 25th Jan. The part I'm unsure is if I they allow the extended time to proof funds in the bank. If done this way there is no need to leave Thailand. Am i getting this right?
  9. Thai wife visa issued at CW. yes, a non O from my understanding. yes, based on marriage.
  10. I think if they give me 90 days it's not going to be under the marriage visa anymore. I would have to go through the re application process again which I prefer not to. Just re checked my passport, I didn't to mention earlier, the thai wife visa was issued on 24th Jan 2024 and expires on 25th Jan 2025. In March 2024 I applied for a single re entry, left the kingdom and came back on 1st April 2024. Upon entry the IO stamped a NON visa valid from 1st April 2024 to 25th Jan 2025. Came through Suvhanabhum both ways. I'd prefer not to leave Thailand. Could I still do the 2 month wife extension (from 25th Jan - 25th March) and later the marriage visa renewal (with funds banked in before Jan25th) based on the current situation? Or any other suggestion within same timings of funds and not leaving Thailand.
  11. I've not previously used it on the current visa approved on 1st April 2023 which expires on 25th Jan 2024. So I can do it this way? Sounds like it. Thank you DrJack for your input, it's much appreciated.
  12. Please confirm if this is possible.. My spouse O visa expires on Jan 25th 2025. The 2 month requirement for funds in the bank has not been met. I should be able to raise the funds before Jan 25th 2025. My question is... Is it possible to have the funds in the bank just before the 25th Jan, get a 60 day extension at CW based of marriage visa and return to CW on the 25th March (or just before it expires), and apply for the yearly spouse O visa extension? Thanks.
  13. How about unbanning and releasing Shakespeare Must Die. Thailand needs to change it's censorship laws.
  14. Last I read it's an ex cop linked to a high profile case who got the Minister of Education post.
  15. What would one expect with this guy at the top post? https://www.thaipbsworld.com/is-thailands-education-system-safe-in-the-hands-of-bhumjaithai-party/
