I contacted the DWP and the said they had sent a proof of life form to my address in January 2025. Which I never received, but i received pamphlets of them in March and April, so they must have my present address. I also received a proof of life form by email, told to fill in and send back by post. I received and email on Friday saying the payment was sent on the 26th of June.

This I have just found on a translantion about pensions with a double tax treaty. It’s a pension you earned before 2024. Keep your pension record well just in case the Revenue Department ask for it. There’s a double taxation agreement between Thailand and your country stating that the pension, mainly from the government, is subject to tax exclusion. It’s a pension that falls under non-accessible income, such as payments from the US Social Security. On the other hand, if it’s a pension from a private company, such as through an investment, it’s likely that you need to pay tax on that.

I don't think that is right as they asked their boss, he called someone by phone, they checked all by documents, House lease, passport visa stamp, bank statements, plus the documents for my state and military pension that state how much I receive each month and still said "no tax on pension".

Been to the tax revenue office twice now once last November and once a week ago this year. Both times asked what visa I have, both times told "no tax pension".
