  1. Thank you, Toolong, however for me it is about be covered if something happen.
  2. Thank you very much for the input. Yes, WR look like to be more cheap but how are they when it comes to pay out as you say. Would be nice to see any input about that.
  3. Hi, I am in the position on choosing a health insurance for me as an expat with extension based on Non-O (marriage). It would be of interest to read what other expats here in Thailand have chosen and how good the companies are. How good are they when it comes to a claim? How expensive? Pros and cons? Any input is of interest, thanks. update: Sorry I forgot to mention that I am 65, soon 66.
  4. Humiliating for Russia if they must send the weapons to Iran for dismantling and analyze... That tells a lot.
  5. Exactly! Me too. Very disappointed. Still they are coming in droves.
  6. Thank you very much for the information, Sheryl. I have wondered about the Hua Hin hospitals for some time.
  7. Someone have to start doing something. Hopefully the rest will follow.
  8. Are the doctors not so good in Hua Hin government or private hospitals over all or is it just for this certain operation above?
  9. It is a strong signal to the other pub owners of course.
  10. None, as he came with a lawyer to the police station. And it is out on social media.
  11. Can mobiletopup.com pay automatically and in that case what does it cost? I use to topup manually from my account but I M afraid to forget it. I will check it up. Thanks.
  12. OK, thanks for the info. I use to top up 20 thb now and then to my AIS in order to keep the sim alive as I need to have a active sim with Bangkok bank. I am afraid that I will forget that one day. Maybe I will try Ding or this mobiletopup.com that nglodging writes about above.
  13. The most tourists are not doing any research more than nice beaches and food. Unfortunately. So it is a good idea to enlighten them. There are many FB sites just for mention only one source, But up to you if you not want to participate and it look like that. So buy one more air cleaner instead and stay indoors..
  14. I think if they are coming here with family with kids I am sure they instead would use another destination with better air if they would know about the problem. But they don´t know! So if everyone post a comment on related sites that would help I think. I do it when I have the chance.
  15. Increasing the tourists and western journalists knowledge of this huge problem so they not want to come to Thailand would help for sure. I think that is the only way something actual happen.
  16. Ho much is the cost for Ding to top up every month from A Thai bank to the local AIS sim card?
  17. That sounds perfect. I will definitely take a closer look into that area between Hua Hin and Pranburi. You have really been around! I have and still are, looking into Phuket as well. The places I was thinking of there is Wichit, Chalong and Rawai. You have lived there. How is it there climate wise? I guess it is much more moisture in the air. Maybe that can disturb the health and mind as well if too much. Is it nice to live there? To many tourists? I have heard of all the russians now invading the place. Maybe most of them are OK but the ones I have seen have been very rude, especially against the Thais. Yes, there is a lot to take into consideration :-).
  18. Yes, yes, that is so true. We are evolving all life. My wife is from Issan same as the most women in Thailand (it seems like ????) and I have been there some and it is nice there as well. Did considering Khon Kaen for some time, or the outskirts of Khon Kaen, but then the air pollution made me to look into other places. And it is of course nice to have the ocean nearby. Not that I am a beach bum ???? but still just the knowledge that the ocean is close feels comforting.
  19. Yes, Pranburi could be nice as well. I have not been there myself only looked on internet and it looks very nice there. That is not so far away from Hua Hin and hospitals and other services there like shopping etc. Not that I am sick but we are all getting older and who knows what´s waiting around the corner.
  20. That looks nice and sounds nice as well. Which one gated community is this? Maybe I should take a look at that when I go to Hua Hin next time.. There are probably nice places around. The problem is to find them. Pranburi could maybe be nice as well if there is something we like.
  21. Condomium is nice as well but my wife is not so into that because of the height sometimes. But there you can have the bad luck in getting loud neighbors VERY close. Or you can not get that loud by yourself for example play loud music.
  22. Nothing wrong with that for those who like it. But I would like to have some life around my living. Those gated communities I have seen and visit to has been like the place were retirees coming to die. No life/action (very little) around. Too quite for me. No businesses around. Not much interaction with other people.
