Not many young people I know that get such a thing.

I am late middle-aged. I believe it began at 40 and lasts til 60.

Certainly, when I get my pension at 67 I am old, it is even called the "Old Age Pension".

I'm not going to fool myself.

Sure if I live to 90, I am in middle age. But statistically, I will not.

I think as a long time member it is nice to know ages of other members, just being friendly.

Also to know if they have female companions young enough to be their daughters. Sometimes i wish I did:) Sometimes some people think my daughters are, which is one of my pet hates.

I'm confused as all the mayors I've known in my 31 years working here have had a lot of money. They certainly wouldn't expect a lowly paid English teacher to help them out.  Something doesn't add up.
