Since passive PON fiber supports 2.5 gbps down, 1.25 gbps up, I was wondering when they'll start offering faster than 1gbps internet in Thailand. It seems AIS is the forerunner in this regard. As a 3BB 1000/1000 user, I'm jealous of AIS' 2Gbps/500Mbps plans. https://www.ais.th/fibre/package.html Too bad they don't offer 2gbps on all cities, only 1500 mbps for Phuket which doesn't even make sense. Perhaps they'll upgrade fiber lines in other cities in the future? Does anybody use 1500 or 2000 Mbps AIS fiber yet? If so, how's the speeds??

Close all pubs if you want to stop covid. Nobody sits with a mask in any pub/bar. Either accept covid and go on with life, or shut down all bars, which is better than forcing students to online education.

What about fixed internet connectivity? Truemove had transparent proxy before, I bet they still do. 3BB has MITM proxy for port 80 for State enforced blocking of websites, but 443 / HTTPS was fine.

Too expensive for such a small car. NEDC range is a joke, you can only reach it if you drive 50km/h in city only. Try traveling far at 120km/h and AC on. Charging is probably a pain in the butt with 50KW chargers preferred by Charging stations.

Last night 3BB was very slow in Phuket. I heard AIS was also slow for some Singapore destinations as well. Probably shark attack to some submarine cables?

I'm still happy with 3BB in general. I can download files from my server in France at 20 Mbytes/sec using one connection. When I download frim Google drive, it is around 40-60 MB/s which is pretty amazing. No complaints here!

80 percent? no. Best I get is 650 mbps from Singapore with multiple connections on a speedtest server. It would be lower if I was on 1000/100 or 1000/300. I'm on a 1000/1000 mbps and they give different contention ratio between higher and lower packages.

Assuming the traveller is fully vaccinated (otherwise they can't visit Phuket in Sandbox anyways), they UK puts them under quarantine? What's the purpose of Vaccines then? How dumb is this?

I get 70-90 Mbps from AIS 5g, and 70-80 Mbps from AIS 4g. Sure, if you go to a shopping mall you may see higher speeds but we don't live in a mall.
