  1. Sounds like he is just after business from foreigners who are scared of their own shadow or don't know anything about Thailand. Don't believe these sharks just preying on the gullible.
  2. I'll have to look into that, can maybe do the same with my mum in the UK, unless they think I don't live there.
  3. Does WISE deliver ATM cards to Thailand? Yesterday I bought an Ingot of gold with a foreign credit(crypto card that changes my BTC into local currency). I had to pay 3% commission but get 3% cashback on my card. I did have to show my ID card. I don't know if I have to declare this to the tax man, anyone?
  4. You are paranoid. I am Thai and get much more that 200k a year from abroad and there are many like me. They don't care about foreigners with a measly 60k a month coming in, and if you are worried, it is totally unfounded.
  5. Do Thai expats in your country have to pay tax on foreign income?
  6. I'm no expert at all with US politics but did Biden say he beat medicare? there was no inflation when he came to office? Trump shagged a porn star? seniors payments were capped at $200, when it is $2,000?
  7. I agree with you totally, there's a first 🙂
  8. Not sure where to start. The first part is laughable, and I can deal with it later by showing you maps of Palestine in 1966/1948 v today. Israel did most definitely NOT withdraw completely from Gaz in 2005, what on earth gives you that idea? Yes, they too the settlers out(do you know what settlers are?). Yes, they took the army out, but they are back in today. Who controls the Blockade and Border Control? Israel. Israel restricts the movement of people and goods into and out of Gaza, causing great economic hardship and humanitarian crises. Who controls Water, Electricity, Fuel? - Israel. Who has periodic military operations in Gaza? Israel. Who maintains Political Influence in Gaza? Israel Could it be any clearer that Israel did NOT leave Gaza? Do you know what 'disengagement' means? While Israel did remove its physical presence from Gaza in terms of settlements and military bases, its ongoing control over critical aspects of Gaza's infrastructure and resources means that it did NOT "leave" Gaza.
  9. With pleasure, once I get to my computer.
  10. Come on man, this is just not’s true .
  11. Doesn’t surprise me, most legal farangs innThailand want illegal ones removed.
  12. As a legal immigrant in Thailand, having to jump through many hoops for the privilege of becoming naturalized,I despise illegal immigrants and wish the UK govt would do what the Thai govt do with illegals. i miss the days when we could call a spade a spade, like we do now in Thailand. There is absolutely no difference between Thais calling me “fara*g” , which many many do, or me calling someone in the UK a “p*ki”. I find it sad we can’t even write such words in case some snowflakes complain. in fact, in Thai language, 99% of Thais use the pronoun “it” when referring to me as a white guy. I even know white guys who call themselves “farang” to get a laugh from Thais.
  13. I don't think he will be alive in 4 years. He doesn't look at all well. Mark my words, something will happen to him healthwise in the coming weeks, which will cause the Dems to find a new candidate.
  14. No, I don't, but I try not to judge other people's cultures or religions. I was putting things into perspective. This day and age on some countries is not the same day and age in my countries, Thailand and Scotland, which also differ in days and ages. For example, if a Yank says Thais are racist, I remind them that in my lifetime blacks couldn't vote in some US states. If someone says Palestinians are terrorists, I remind them that less than 80!yrars ago the future Israelis were terrorists, etc.
  15. Its obvious the type of Thai girl you hang out with. They're are many I know who know what's happening around the world. I don't really know Julian Assange is. I doubt you know who some famous Thais are, you probably can't even read the Thai newspapers
  16. Good point, I don't trust them, I feel they have something up their sleeve.
  17. I see, I thought perhaps Biden, even with his failings, might have a better chance than another one at this late stage. You may remember I said for years that they wouldn't let Biden take part in this debate, I'm suspicious now, thinking they might want to let it be known he is frail and so he can retire with some dignity. I genuinely feel sorry for him after watching that, and I also think Trump was easy on him.
  18. Interesting, I hope you get a decent candidate. Do you think they will wait until after the election to replace him? Big gamble....
  19. I was at Trump International last year, great course.
  20. THE POTUS should never have a poor night like that, he's an embarrassment and the world is laughing at the USA.
  21. Biden has absolutely no chance of beating Trump now, period, period, period Anyone voting for him needs their head examined.
  22. In US English, is it normal to say, “period, period, period”?
  23. 4 years ago, some of my friends only voted from Biden, a second rate politician, for one reason only, to beat trump. Now, anyone trying the same is doing their country a great diservice.
  24. Indeed, they will never let Biden take part in another event where he has to think.
