  1. Where does the M6 start and finish? Can I use it when going to Udon Thani from Bangkok? Thanks.
  2. Good to know. I wish you many trouble-free miles.
  3. Hi, I am considering buying the Yaris Cross Hev Premium Luxury and would love to have any comments from the owners. Is it reliable? Are there any bad things about it? What are the plusses and minusses? Please refrain from making comments if you have never driven one or don't own one. Many thanks. 😊
  4. Hi, sorry I haven't been on line the last few days. This is what I use and recommend (bought from Shoppee)
  5. There is a spray you can do yourself: Taurus SC: Best Overall Active Ingredient: Fipronil Lasts For: Up to 10 years Works As Fast As: Less than three months I used a garden spray around the house and between the floorboards both upstairs and downstairs. This is what the professionals use, must have Fipronil as this sticks to the termite's legs and transfers it to the nest in turn killing the queen. Haven't had any problems since. I respray once a year just to be safe. dilutes something like 1 to 100, very effective. If you can't find this then get one with Fipronil. Here is the guide but I didn't dig a trench: Taurus SC is a highly concentrated, liquid termite killer that is applied to a trench around your house’s perimeter. For best results, dig a six-inch trench around your home’s perimeter, pour the solution in approximately every ten feet, and wait for your results. Taurus SC is a highly-effective termite killer because termites cannot detect it, so they walk over the liquid and bring the poison back to the termite colony with them. This leads to other termites being contaminated with Taurus SC and eventually eradicates the colony. It also works against wasps, ants, centipedes, roaches, and other pests as well.
  6. Have you looked at the Toyota Yaris Cross? I was looking at it yesterday and looks very good. I am seriously thinking about it.
  7. Why was the policeman crying? Quote: Sittupunt told the police officer in tears.
  8. Whichever party agrees to increase my pension along with the same increases they get in the UK I will vote for, otherwise they can go suck.
  9. As a foreign teacher in Thailand I often hear about poor teachers. I have been teaching here for 25 years and have seen many reasons why this is so. It's not always the teacher that is at fault. In many cases the teachers are dictated on what and how to teach by the people in charge that think they know better. Many of these 'dictators' have very little knowledge of what goes on in the classroom. Yes, they have a masters degree or even a doctorate degree but have never been in the classroom long enough to understand the problems. They have read books that others have written, so they know everything. Many teachers want to teach the way they have been taught but are not allowed to do so because the school want it done their way. I do not profess to have all the answers but there are so many basic things that could help to improve the life and learning of students at school. I think students have too many subjects in one day. To have 8 different subjects in one day in my opinion is at least 3 too many. Students and indeed humans in general are only capable of processing a certain amount of knowledge each time, therefore much of it is lost and not remembered. There are weak students (not poor) mixed with good students, therefore holding back the good students from more advanced learning. Schools do not (in my opinion) segregate the weak and better students. There are those students that are just bad students that are not interested to learn. I have had students that do not listen to teachers for whatever reason. In one instance I have heard a student comment that their parents said they do not need to listen to foreign teachers. I could go on but as I said, I don't have all the answers. Many may disagree with what I wrote but again it is my opinion. Unless the whole nation changes it's attitude about learning, they will never improve only go backwards. Thanks for reading. Stop blaming the teachers.
  10. Hi, I am interested in buying a protein meal supplement for weight loss and was wondering if anyone has used them and what results did you have. Also would like to know the brand name. Many thanks in advance.
  11. Yep! I had the same problem except I don't drink. It turned out to be gall stones and they were blocking my bile tubes. Nearly got jaundice over it. Had the bladder removed, now much better.
  12. I design and print tee shirts, mugs or anything that can be printed on basically. Or I print for others if they have a design or photo they want printing. It can be time consuming but the results are worth it. I also dabble in genealogy, but that is getting a little difficult from here (Thailand) as I am British.
  13. Just had similar problems. My Int. Hospital where I have spent loads of money refused to sign it. They just say "cannot" ask why "cannot" In the end I had to go to a local lawyer and they wanted 3,000 baht. I said I would pay 2,000 baht. I did this because I knew I would just get the run-around. So frustrating, they just do not understand there is no accountability towards them. Pathetic. On top of that DWP sent the certificate in January, I never received it. I emailed DWP as they postponed payment, and they sent another through email (this week) Just sent a completed form today. They will not accept electronic mail so have to wait for post again. So frustrating.
