No where do they care as to the status of your Visa or lack thereof.

Laos girl? Did she have a valid visa? If she has, is her visa the correct type? Is she working in Thailand? Did she have a work permit? These are some questions that Thai police needs to work out first.

Sounds like a catch 22 to me.

In South east Asia, you are guilty until proven innocent.

She was caught with the stuff in her possession.

That is not absolute proof she is guilty.

The stuff could have been planted on her and the woman was unaware she was carrying the drugs, plus lots of other possibilities.

Being in possession is not proof of intent.

Reasonable Doubt might be why she got Life and not the Death Penalty ..

We purchased the PIN online with credit card and it is in the following format WB123456789

2 alpha's and 9 numeric

Now I'm wondering if by purchasing online you are only allowed to make the reservation online and by purchasing the PIN in the post office you are only allowed to make the appointment by phone (?????)

That brings another issue since when checking online it only gives the months March and April which are completely booked out. No option to check May/June - see attached.

Any further advice is appreciated.

The plan is to fully furnished the condo , stay for several month just to show to the bank that its our family homes,then after that we are going to rent it out. Monthly rental rate there is about 25k thb per month. fully furnished. depending on the size of the condo.

We are also thinking of selling it in the future.
