  1. I spent a lot of time there 7 years ago, went back last year for a few days,it's a a lot busier now ,some of the bungalow prices are a little crazy ,some stupid ferang has built a huge concrete structure on ao yai,but in general the island still has the same relaxed vibe,

    Good to hear.

  2. The pitta's from Rimping are not the cheapest but very good.

3 big ones for 60 bath.

    Also available in whole wheat.

    Enjoy.

Had them a couple of times and found they never last to the expiry date printed on the label.

Thank you for your e-mail, I don't have a Facebook account so I can't open your answer of a hotel to stay in. Could you resend your e-mail with the hotel's name and a telephone number if possible.

I don't have a Facebook account either but if I click the link it opens. Anyway, the "Nice Mum Lodge" is what the link opens....unfortunately, that Facebook page hasn't been updated for a couple of years and the link to their website doesn't work.

And I'm pretty sure Beng misspelled his suggestion - I think it's supposed to be Royal Panerai.

Sorry I can't be of assistance with a recommendation of my own.

    Yes, I meant Royal Panerai.

  4. I attended a cooking demonstration once many years ago in Pakistan. This was one of the items cooked. It was absolutely delicious, but I have never tried to make it because I can't find the right recipe to try. Anyway, I think there are a lot of recipes out there, but if anyone knows of really good one, I would like it also....

I saw a tripadvisor review for La Fourchette restaurant that actually said someone had a Mulligatawny Soup there (Oct 2013). Don't know if it is good or not, but maybe worth trying to give them a call and ask? If they have it and you do go, let us know if you like it.

    Where is that restaurant ?
