  1. I heard that her police husband killed her and hide the body in the guys house as he was somehow familiar with that house, the search in the tank was a decoy.

Thats why the police was not interested in the case the first time it was mentioned.

She got the gun because husband was a policeman.

Police man maybe jealous that wivey visit ex boyfriend ?

Thats why she was found there, and he changed the story under the pressure of the heat.

But to you all out there.... who was it ?

Right here on TV he claimed openly and proudly that the gun was his only a few days ago, so likely he either purchased it in her name or at a minimum took ownership of it once he did the nasty deed.. Either way it demonstrates even more so that he was a sciopathic liar making the claims of his supposed elevated omnipotence regarding his legal ownership of this gun..

    Ironic that isn't it? giggle.gif

Was there an mention that there was just 1 gun in his house? Could it be so that there was 1 gun for her and 1 gun for him. Therefore 1 gun which was illegal to have in his house (and therefore the charge) and another which was legal (and can get though airport security in some form).

Possibly but they mention only one gun found and ironically it was a Glock? See here...

Interestingly, there where he mentions his Glock, he writes:

"been working with LPG for a decade, and wouldnt want it in my basement either. great above ground tho." Guess that didn't apply to his late gf, who was an LPG - Lovely Pretty Girl.

  2. oh well , everything is good enough to make money in this country .... unfortunately I am sure so many thais dont have any idea of what happend during the war and what Hitler did to the people , not only the jews but , gypsies , homosexual, communist etc ..... ignorance is the key and lack in education another one.

What did he do to the homosexual? Personally rape them?

What did he do to the communist? If he remove them, that is a big plus for USA and the Western world isn't it.

Pity those who are as ignorant as....

  3. In 2009 I read this:

"In early March 2009, CKA Chiang Mai Co. Ltd. a subsidiary of the Los Angeles based entertainment firm Creative Kingdom Inc. announced an 8 billion baht (USD 220 million) investment in a movie town, to be called Lannawood, in Chiang Mai. The project is expected to be completed in 2014 and will comprise 6 studios. The company believes Lannawood will be able to surpass Hong Kong as the hub of the movie industry in Asia. CKA expects to create a number of economic spinoff benefits for Chiang Mai."

Anyone here knows more about this?

    Just curious.

  4. Although embassies and - in particular - consulates tend to make their own rules, they are not allowed to do so. All Thai embassies and consulates have been instructed by the MFA that they must strictly and uniformly implement the laws, regulations etc. set out in BKK.

I know that few Thai embassies and consulates comply with that instruction - it's up to the officer - but it could be worthwhile applying for such a "father of a Thai child" visa elsewhere. Until recently, the Thai embassy in Vientiane issued them.

  5. "On the cargo front, it facilitates about 4,000 tonnes against a 5,000-tonne capacity."

In other words: We will start considering drawing up a draft plan for expansion of the present cargo capacity within 12 years after that capacity has been fully used.

TIT and it will always be - that's why I love it and will stay here as long as the Thai will allow me to.

  6. The headline and story are not correct. Thailand is NOT on the blacklist, only Iran and North Korea are, but on another list, known as the grey list.

Perhaps so, although being lumped into the same category as Nigeria will bring unwanted scrutiny to financial transactions to / from Thailand.

Unwanted, excessive scrutiny is already hampering our business, here in Th. We have had corporate PayPal and Moneybookers accounts blocked without prior warning - at least in one case in violation with their own terms and conditions.

The ridiculous obstacles seemingly randomly imposed by PayPal and Moneybookers - apparently because of Thailand's status as a safe haven for money laundering and the financing of terrorism - seriously hurts our import and export business. Because we exclusively sell and provide services online, we can operate our business virtually anywhere on the globe and we may soon be forced to move elsewhere.

It is not only Thailand. I know of incidents where expats in Costa Rica have had their bank accounts frozen without warning. The account holder then has to prove where the funds came from in their accounts prior to them being unfrozen. Lots of money laundering and offshore shell corporations operate in CR. The US has been putting pressure on the Costa Rican government to tighten controls on money flow. All part of the the US tracking down undeclared wealth and earnings so they can tax it, along with the obligatory penalties, interest and subsequent criminal charges.

If only the US would mind their own f****** business. Neither our company, nor our shareholders or any of our staff are or have been subject to US legislation.

Accounts have been blocked four times now. Each time when they were unblocked we immediately made a donation to Wikileaks - which may very well be the reason why accounts got blocked again.

  8. The headline and story are not correct. Thailand is NOT on the blacklist, only Iran and North Korea are, but on another list, known as the grey list.

Sounds like they're not totally convinced, then....

Countries on the grey list are "warned about risks arising from transactions with the jurisdictions". The only other countries on the grey list with a high GDP are Indonesia, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Turkey.

  9. A maximum security detention centre is - this should not need an explanation - a maximum security detention centre....

So, what is a a "super maximum prison"??? More security than maximum security is impossible, so the "super" perhaps refers to

    - the luxury for the VIP detainees

    - the corruption money generated by its construction and operation

    - the propaganda created to "sell" this prison

The security of any detention centre / prison ultimately depends on the reliability of its staff. And that's where "super" will not apply.
