  1. wheel was clamped and a 500-baht ticket was issued.

Since the ticket was all in Thai and I had absolutely no idea which police station to go to to pay for the fine. So happened that there was a motorbike taxi driver there and with my poor thai I asked him what should I do. He mentioned there was a police station nearby (it's in Chatuchak) but still I was unable to figure out where exactly it was. He then said that he could help by going to the police station and asked the officer to come to where my car was parked.

One uniformed officer came by after a while, he showed me his ID(?), which was all in Thai. He first asked for my driving license and passport, I showed, and then said that he could unclamp the wheel and 'settle' the case if I paid 500baht on the spot. I did. I didn't get any receipt from him though.

So, is this case considered close? Would my case be recorded?

  2. So far I would say it's New Zealand! (used to live there for almost 3 years and had travelled basically every nook and cranny)

I was amazed by the God's creation when I first stepped on the South Island, trust me, the scenery is unbelieavable and undescribable.

I particularly like Invercargill, absolute tranquility!

  3. Try the Shamrock bar on Kao San rd. Upstairs from the Kao San Centre. You can't miss it. Many nationalities not just Irish. Live band everynight. 180baht Guinness. Also theres an Irish Bar at the end of Patpong. Not sure if its 1 or 2. But i think its 2. Not sure of name. O'Reilleys?

Shamrock bar? Is it owned by Lee Shamrock? Good singer, he plays every Monday and Thursday in Irish Xchange (Soi Convent, Silom), Tuesday and ? in Dubliners (Sukhumvit).

Yupe, the one in Patpong is called O'Reilys :o

  4. Well, like I said, I still think about her. Maybe my biggest mistake was to break up with her. Now you've got me thinking about her again.... :D

Maybe it's time for you to move back to Bangkok again :D

I met her too, sweet, polite, beautiful (especially her hair), etc... and because of her, we now know that ladies can get 50% discount on food every thursday! Bloody ######, I've been going there every thursday but nobody ever told me that :o

  5. I would suggest the "anglers" go to Bintang Walk, The Beach Club or Bangsar (that's where the sluts hang).........its a good place for fishing provided you have the "bait".............careful though, they are more fussy than Thai women............they also go for looks and age :o

It's true, you'd hardly see an old, fat, ugly farang holds a beautiful young girl's hand walking on the street. Life is hard for scumbags in Malaysia :D
