Thanks, again, advice appreciated ,I am currently living in a 55sqm apartment, a similar size one would be ideal.

Thanks for the additional and very informative replies, very useful. I am looking to rent a 35/40 sm place for the months of February and March next year. I do like to cook at times so a condo with kitchennete would be ideal.

thanks, that's settled then, appreciated

I want to rent a condo in Jomtien for 2 months,I dont particulary want to wave goodbye to maybe 2 months deposit on top of the rental. Is it a solution to book via platforms such as airbnb/booking.com ? The rental is probably more than I would pay locally but they are not asking ( as far as I can see) months deposits on top. Many thanks

at your age your life expectancy is around 85

Over recent years ( before covid) I,ve rocked up in the above area and easily arranged a studio apartment for a months rental. I,m hoping to do the same same in around 2 weeks time ,looking online prices are insane....Whats the reality please, ? should I panic and book or proceed as normal. I know its an exceptional situation-Russia/China etc.

Annuity rates are already up 35 per cent on last year and rising, If interest rates hit 6pc I am hoping for an annuity rate of 8 per cent ( age 68,single life) Spring 2023. I note and respect your point re inflation.

Hopefully there is - in every cloud there is a silver lining- I am returning to live in England next May, then I,ll be 68 so UK Interest rates will have doubled by then, so will probably buy an annuity after 15 years of very low interest/annuity rates.

agree, lets hope the deranged ridiculous midget has the balls to end it shortly like Adolf did.

Hi, I am using the Concept 2 Rower, you say 5000m in 22 minutes, to me that is stunning, I can get to 27 minutes at a push , is it my age ( shortly 67) or do i need to review my technique
