If you want to go direct to your destination, use Grab.  If you want a mini adventure, take a tuk tuk.  Experienced travellers have known this for decades.

Not even a scam .... just the tailor shop paying commission for visitors .... he could pay the full fare, but then he'd have no story for his channel.

Grab ?    Decades ??     Grab started about the year 2012

This isn't an advertised event and also an annual event raising funds latently until Kumar decided to draw attention for all the wrong reasons.  Are you okay?

yes.  this EVENT is never reported in the media, so no-one ever gets to hear about it(!)  Would these generous patrons not donate to charity if it weren't for the EVENT ?

BTW - who is Kumar - didn't he used to live at #42

I would trust ONS more than your characterisation of fake news.

and the ONS is not beyond reproach, as any check on 'Prof. Google' can confirm.  Their sampling methods have been questioned many times.

Not saying they are wrong in this instance,  just be careful with anyone who relies on statistics to bolster their case.

  4. so,  when will they begin true and total democracy in the EU ?       e.g.   recent Italian elections and the newly - elected coalition's choice of Finance minister - not pro-EU enough, so barred by EU place men (unelected).    And, many more examples.

This visit is not about reviewing Thailand's level of democracy,  It is nothing more than a freebe holiday at tax-payers expense.

I've actually met Germans who speak better English than English people do.

Fair comment.  There is some truth in that, because English language is so poorly taught in schools these days.

As for language used on TV, surely that is not necessary,  or the monosyllabic world of computer games ...........       (     signs of a grumpy old man  writing this ☺️ )
