I bought my last 2 suites 6 years ago and they have been in good use since then. From what I can remember the name of the shop was John Tailor. It's on a row of shops on Sukhumvit near the Nana footbridge. The cost was a lot less than any others in the area. You'll proberbly get to the airport without getting picked up. Get to the airport in plenty of time before you're flight goes, you will get a grilling. If you can show that you had had money coming into Thailand over the last 2 years and have not been supporting yourself by working in Thailand that will help. You will get a stamp on you're passport and there will also be an entry on thier new computer system.

Before you come back to Thailand apply for the correct visa. I suspect that you will find it difficult to come back on a tourist visa or the 30 day visa exempt stamp for the next few months.
