  1. Yes exactly Isabelle. Like Ave I have only ever had very devoted Thai boyfriends/husbands and I know them so well and they know me so well that no cheating has gone on. In fact, to draw this closer to some other threads on the forum... many Thai men/women will go as far as hurting someone if they feel their relationship is jepordised by a 'third' party. A far cry from all Thai men being unfaithful... it's who you choose to get involved with and what intellectual level you have with that person that matters and being able to discuss with him/her. Many many Thai people can and are very faithful to their partners for life... When you know someone REALLY well you can tell if they are cheating because their behaviour changes

  2. Two inches high and dead cute... just learning what it can do but I love it already. Used to think a certain friend of mine's hubby was weird wearing earphones all the time around the house but now I totally understand him!!! It's so tiny and makes such a great sound... I am in lurve :o

  3. Absolutely, it is a matter of serotonin re uptake and it can be managed like all other illnesses with drugs. There is no need to be ashamed of taking these drugs it is just a case of accepting that your brain is not firing on all cylinders and the correct drugs can work ... you have to make sure you have the correct doctor and the correct drugs ...

  4. I can't understand why anyone would want to stay in Siam Square or Silom or Sukhumvit. Choose somewhere near, but not in, Khao San Road and you will see a different Bangkok. Thanon Phra Atit would be ideal, right next to the river and very cheap but an insight into the old Thai life as opposed to skyscrapers and the like...

  5. I think you are right Dak, it took 2 years for me to be properly diagnosed in Thailand and even when I came to UK for treatment everyone didn't really know/still don't know what they are dealing with regards TB. With HIV it's fairly straight forward, TB forget it. In hospital nurses were coming into my side room asking me 'Should I wear a mask' and stuff like that!!! It's MAD and very upsetting

  6. Take care Dakhar, I would like to know the outcome of your situation. For me it was not a 'straight line' as I said before. I thought I'd be in hospital a month and then home, take the meds and then fine. But in my case it didn't work like that. I manage very well now though, there are ways of managing disability.

Try, if you can, not to stress too much until you have something positive to work with though. Stress really does make it worse - if you DO have anything the stress further weakens your immune system so try to think of beautiful things and wait until you get some results back

    Keep us posted please,

  7. Yes Dakhar it makes me upset too that not many people know about TB. Check my blog Seonai's World at www.tbsurvivalproject.org

And yes, off the meds now... keeping all fingers crossed:)
