So one lawyer for each of 70 provinces: One lawyer for Bangkok and one for Sing Buri?
I didn't say that.. BKK may have 50+. Smaller provinces less

So it's not enough you bring your money here and spend it, now the government wants to add an tax which in affect will make every single thing in the country X% more expensive depending on your tax obligation.
The max amount was 35% right? That means if you earned US income and were taxed at 20% you would be responsible for another 15%, thus making Thailand 15% more expensive across the board?
If this really goes through and the number is significant will Thailand even be affordable anymore?
I don't think it works that way. If you pay tax in the US you don't pay tax in Thailand

Even when they do get the details, it’s pretty certain that it will be interpreted differently by each individual and district. So total confusion.I tend to doubt it. That is why the RD is hiring a lawyer for each province.

You are all missing the point.
Currently, Thailand considers income earned over 12 months ago as capital and capital is not taxed.
Thus, if you can earn income tax free at source and then spend income earned 13 months ago, you legally have no tax to pay.
However, if Thailand changes their interpretation of capital or requires income earned anywhere to be taxed in the year it is earned, you would technically have to declare your income and suffer Thai taxation.
In reality, if you are paid into Hong Kong and transfer capital, no-one is ever going to ask you where the money came from because it is none of their business. The new law closes the loop on income earned in 1 year and brought into Thailand the next year.

To date, RD employees have not been given any details on this new tax law. No use getting bent out of shape at this time..

Trying to actually enforce this will result in a mass exodus of expats and huge amounts of money - no one wants to pay extra taxes on money that's already been taxed, nor have to report and prove that it was already taxed. And that's the real question: if and how are they going to enforce it? will all tax residents have to report? As usual big confusion and zero clarity.
They will enforce it. In fact, the Revenue Department is in the process of hiring 70 Lawyers.. One in each province to assure tax collection.

I have been using Apollo group iptv. Works flawlessly Lots of live tv and movies, Great layout as well. It doesn’t do you any good to have 10,000 moves is you can’t find what you want easy. No buffering either.
i thought about trying Plex but I didn’t know any hostI just noticed your post. Sorry for the late reply. I am familiar with Apollo. In fact, I used them myself until the day I told them how rude they are and they banned me.
Their service does work well, but I find the very expensive. I believe they are $20-25/mo could be more by now. The service I have now has more content that I will ever use. The difference is, they answer questions 24/7 and are curious. I rarely experience buffering, but we all know that buffering is usually an ISP issue and not necessarily a provider issue. The current cost for 3 months 2 connections is $30.

Her mother is Thai her father is Swiss. She worked her butt off to get where she is today. You have Movie, Music, TV stars living all over the world. I don't hear anyone saying they should be living in the country they are from.
I congratulate you Lisa and wish you continued success.

The only authorized repair is Nvidia in Singapore. BUT, if you send it to them, You will most likely have to pay customs as if it is a new unit.

For retirement you do not have to take the wife, show photos or witness. Simply have the required financials and that's it.
I have not had to bring any witness in years.

I see no reason to pay an agent especially when I meet and exceed all the rules. As for time, I have plenty of that..

I hindsight, I should have just paid the 1900B and come back in 2 months."
Yes, she made a suggestion and you refused it. Now you are a marked man!
Best way forward, is to change to the 400,000 baht in a Thai bank in the future to avoid all this nonsense. You don't mention any monies in a Thai Bank Don't you have any?
What I have in a Thai bank is irrelevant. I have done my marriage extension the same way for years with no issues. In addition, I'm in no position to keep 400,000 in the bank at this time as I just built a new house.

I originally used to do monthly transfers for several years for my marriage extension but changed to money in the bank so I didnt have to travel to Bnagkok and argue with the thai staff about getting my govt notices stamped. My transfers varied every month due to the exchange rates plus when I had extra in my account from my partial business, it was never queried, really does sound like she is being a total b***h, have you tried speaking to the head person in the office
She is the Captain in charge. The IO that actually did all the application work approved it and sent it to her for signature.

So write the letter, it'll take less time than this post did.
Keep it short, very short, no, shorter than that and don't embellish it with the weather report from the U.S. or your purchases and bills. And get it translated to thai.
Here's a start:
Thanks for the suggestion and the edit. My wife tells me she has sent them a letter stating that transfer rates change and there is not a single month that less than 40,000 THB had been sent.
