Just wondering what the latest on Penang visas is. Got a multi entry last year no problems, is this still easy. And what if it's not? If I get a 3 month visa (Aust passport) how long canI renew it for once it expires....3 months? Not too sure.

I want to be able to store some course material for students to download, nothing fancy, just the odd page of text. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Will I need some kind of website, or could I do it with only a homepage (I don't think people can download stuff from the latter???)

When returning from Aust the imm. woman stamped my non-imm visa incorrectly, giving me only 30 days, stupid me didn't check before leaving of course. Has this happened to anyone, is it just a matter of going to immigration and having it rectified?

Also, is immigration open on Sat mornings?

I would advise doing it through an agent, I used one last Oct and it was easy and only cost 25R or so. Apparently, for an extra fee they can get it back the same day. I used the one at the front of the swiss hotel, can't recall the street name, but it's Penangs backpacker ghetto....batu something. I was a bit concerned about giving my passport over after alll the hassles here last year, but it was no problem.

did a search and didn't find anything on dentists.....can anyone recomend agood dentist, went to Dr asavant in thong lor last yaer but wasn't entirely happy with the place. thought I would try somewhere different this year, when I get the x-rays I would like to keep them in case I have to get something done and wany a second opinion, do you think it would be strange to ask to keep your x-rays? (figure it a waste of money to get them done again if seeking a second opinion)

Am doing a visa mission to Penang end of this month, have searched the forum and am still none the wiser where to stay. Can anyone help?? Am taking the GF for a weeks holiday, thus killing two birds with one proverbial stone. Want to stay somewhere reasonably central , and want to pay as little as possible for as much as possible......nice guesthouse or medium priced hotel???

Some have recomended visa agents, but I figure unless you have a million 30 day visa's, you're better off going to the consulate yourself.....is this the case??? Is the best I can hope for a 3 month visa??? or could an agent get me a 12 month multi entry??? (I doubt this from what I've read)

Any other info any one can offer would be appreciated (am flying with Airasia)
