I've just put this into google translate; come back to you when it is deciphered
Thanks, somehow, I didn't write that sentence like I intended.
But then, in a way it was as senseless as Trump. He talks a lot without engaging his brain.

I just saw a video where one guy asked the other who Trump is doing this or that.
IMHO it is useless to ask why with this guy. He does something because he does it. Don't expect any logic and any sense.
If Trump would think, then things would make somehow sense. They don't. So, what's the point of trying to find some logic which obviously does not exist.

It's great to see now at least some politicians tell Trump the truth. It seems every day there are more of them.

It would be easy to save many more billions. Just don't give any money to Musk's companies.

Just continue to look only on truth social and Elon's tweets and you will feel comfortable in your bubble.
But better don't listen to anybody outside of your bubble, it might confuse you.

What laws have been broken by Trump? Did Democrats follow the law with their withch hunt, bent rules to bring an out of date misdemeanor to a felony, spied on Trumps campaign, false impeachment, Russia hoax paid for by Clinton....the list goes on and on....
Reap what you sow!!
Thanks for confirming that you don't care.

I am not surprised Trump want loyal people, look at all the snakes in congress, establishmant shill and RINOs he had to deal with last time, go Trump,
What do you think is more important, that everybody follows all the laws and especially the constitution or that they do whatever Trump wants?

There was a time without everybody having a camera ready.
At that time people would have walked away. Or maybe they would have looked a little for entertainment and then walk away.
I guess those good old time are gone forever.

I don't know how qualified he/she/it was. Lots of medical doctors smoke - and some of them are still good doctors.
With Trump it's pretty obvious that the most important thing for Trump is that whoever he hires is loyal to Trump only and doesn't care about little issues like laws and the constitution. Was ability to do the job and know what the job is a criterium for Trump? It doesn't look like it.

I never tried it. But somehow, I guess if I meet a girl on the street and would tell her right away to go to a room and then get on your knees and suck my d#@$ that would probably not work without any additional incentive.
But then, I never tried.

There are also a lot of good people out there.
Yes
But if you meet 9 good guys and 1 bad guy then you are better prepared for that bad guy and not assume all are good guys.

Either way, Don't worry. If they are good dads, they will have good girls.
Really?
I think when I was 19, I was also a "good boy". But I had no idea of the crazy and dangerous world out there because I lived in a nice neighborhood with nice people and no visible crime.
I guess now young people see a lot more of what is happening on the internet. But IMHO that doesn't mean that they are prepared for all the bad people out there.
If it would be my teenage daughter, I would very much tell her not to visit a country far away from home with a language she doesn't know, a culture she doesn't know, etc.

That's probably the most typical MAGA reaction. For you the important part is that the heads of the people who oppose Trump explode.
That at the same time the government is run by incompetent maniacs doesn't really matter to you. Sad.

IMO the one on the right would be barely legal age, if that.
Some people bring their daughters with them to the beach. Most of the time that is harmless...
And that is kind of my point. The fact that someone is on an island or boat where are also teenage girls doesn't mean much.

One More Farang, I guess that you didn't really expect anyone here to refer you to a good website for tips (as initially requested) to keep these young ladies safe in their travels around the LoS...and further to my assumptions, you would have no doubt expected the normal barrage of asinine comments and derogatory references to the young ladies expected fate in Thailand.
You being a life long poster, what were you thinking? If the intended result was to create bickering, done, if it was to draw the usual village idiots into a completely banal war of wards then SMIAI and fredwiigy have delivered your dream.
I read a couple of good replies.
Obviously, it was expected that the quality of the replies didn't get better over time.
I decided right from the beginning that it won't be a good idea to share this thread with the girls or their father...

Or maybe you just don't know the meaning of the word "friend".
Nobody has hundreds of friends because nobody has time for hundreds of friends.

Again... Valid point - which is why discussions such as this are important so that the 'uninitiated' know to look out for vehicles which utilise LiFePO4 batteries and not just concentrate on random photos of children's stand-on scooter that have caught fire
Agreed - but again, take a balanced approach to the risk... For example, if you were a 'non-motorcycle rider'... you may wish to post photos of guys in hospital and highlight the risk of an accident on two wheels... its is a risk right - but also off-topic... Your point is closer to topic - but you present a strong bias which isn't really contributing.
There are enough EV vehicles out there now to know that the risk of fire is rather insignificant (that doesn't mean risk free)... If someone asks about a Ducati, you are not going to post photo's of Ducati's that have caught fire....
Thanks, mostly I agree with you.
Maybe my bias comes from meeting people who have an electric two-wheeler or who want to buy one and who don't know at all that there is a risk.
One of those guys had an electric scooter and he was not aware that physical damage of the battery and water (maybe long time later) can ignite the battery. I hope I don't have to post a video so that people believe that.
I don't know how many people who buy them are well informed and how many know basically nothing about the risk.

Many men think they deserve sex because they take women on dates, and that's a boy's thinking. Dating is to get to know others, and that takes time. That's why you don't spend a lot of money on the first few dates. You want sex, you go to tinder. You want a partner, you find her in other ways. Men are the same everywhere and think women owe them, and they're wrong. No one deserves sex unless they treat a woman with respect all the time, and not think buying things gets them the right. Only a fool spends a lot of money on a woman after they've just met. Showing off has them thinking it'll be like that forever, or being too cheap does the same.
And now explain all that to Somchai.
I know from Thai girls that they are very careful with Thai guys. If they don't accept that they will get f@$@ed, then then don't go with a guy. Problem solved.

LiFePO4 batteries are now regarded as very safe - IF looking for an Electronic Motorcycle, I'd be looking for one which uses this type of battery.... so the point is valid, but I don't thing the bias is.
Good that you would pay attention.
But how many people who buy any kind of EVs even know that there are different types of batteries.
And as we all know, if some Chinese advertisement tells you they use batteries type A, does that mean this is true?
I know lithium batteries from RC hobby, and I know the risk of them - even if they are small.
And I saw enough articles and videos from lithium battery fires which could not be stopped, even by professional fire fighters.
Is that a thing of the past? Is there no risk anymore? I don't think so.
It's up to each of us what kind of risk we are willing to take. My point is: Make sure you know there is a risk!
-
IMHO safety in Thailand has a lot to do with different cultures and misunderstandings.
It seems in the west some girls think it is perfectly ok to let a guy spend hundreds of dollars for dinner and drinks for a night and then she sends him home alone. It seems Thai guys have different expectations. And if everybody is drunk then the situation is even worse.
Does that give guys in Thailand the right to do whatever they want? No. But don't be surprised if they see things differently.

Introspection: Are You a Chronic Complainer, or Are These Just Minor Inconveniences?
in ASEAN NOW Community Pub

Every country has rules and regulation, and bureaucrats. I don't think Thailand is worse than "home".
The problem for many of us is obviously the fact that those rules and forms are mostly in Thai language. And most of us can't read Thai. I don't think we should blame Thailand for the fact that they use Thai language in Thailand.
And of course we are a small minority. I.e. some people complain that there are special rules for foreigners in banks. They shouldn't be surprised about that. And they shouldn't be surprised that companies don't spend huge resources only for a few farangs.
Obviously, there are some rules which I don't like. But there is no point in complaining. Just follow the rules and case closed.
