What is this recall about?
-
^
Maybe Allan will be the first happy Benelli 302 owner at TV. Maybe not. Where is the problem? We already have some happy Lifan owners. Unbelieveable, isn't it?
And we already had some links to good reports for the Benelli. Can you point us to something bad? Please tell it, here at TV we are not hiding facts. We are open minded, no bike racists here

A big tidy up isnt easy - without wish wellingtons...

These threads always make the chinese bike haters return to TV. Seems they are bored to death talking about Honda in other forums. Even the ghost of Michael Jackson found his way to us
All say its a bit heavy and lacks ABS. But other than that nothing bad so far.
I had to recheck the dimensional numbers of the BN302 because in real life the bike feels very light and compact, like a 300cc should.Sounds like a solid bike. Nothing to win races, but build to last long time.
-
Wow, if people start comparing the chinese made Benelli bikes with Ducati ... cant be that bad.

I thought that law was already in existence?
Yes, law does exist of course. But most landlords dont want to report if renting houses to foreigners because they dont want to pay taxes for the money earned. And if they are forced to report they will raise the rental fee to get the money back.

Yes, i paid 1 Baht per month too.

PM received.

Pretty sure thai people call it "starter relay" too. Or maybe they say "relay starter" with the typical pronunciation thai people give english words. But shouldn't be that hard to replace yourself (or check it yourself if you have a multimeter). Pictures are from ER-6n, guess it looks the same on your bike:
-
I would check starter, relay and all contacts like shown in this video. Video is for older bikes but basically should be the same for yours.

It sounds interesting. If its completely produced by Shinery, like said in the a review of the Mash Roadstar 400, imo thats a good thing.
But better wait and see. If it comes to thailand as knock-down kit or semi-knocked-down there are many ways to make a good bike bad at assembling.

I have seen videos with people going up to 250kmh and more on Bangkok highways at night. Maybe 3am is a good time. And as the OP is skilled it should be safe too

If no luck, I could advise how I made one from a brake fluid resevior and a chainsaw oiler bulb pump and some tubing from the drip irrigation store. Works great. Under $5 total.
Once you have some time, can you show us some pictures of your DIY chainoiler please. Thanks.
My Loobman still works OK. But quality wise its a bit like self made, so not sure i would spend the money again

Her next 'pic' will at the top of Mount Everest next to her nice clean bike in a bikini.
Yep, and then she jumps and uses a wingsuit to go back home...

For those who have been wondering how I've been taking all my photos myself, here you go! THIS is my camera crew! From the HTC Re Camera and phones, to my Canon digital camera, my Drift Action cam, selfie stick and tripod. With these, you could take some cool shots yourself too! Other than that, visitors at scenic spots are more than happy to help me take a photo or two too
Now its official: Must haves for all serious riders

Finally she is getting nearer...

She seems to be a master in handling stick and bike at same time. But she still hasnt told us what brand the magick selfie stick is that makes such perfect pictures. A must have for all bikers from now on
Wonder if this camera runs android? Or maybe she just likes the cute robot logo.
This is one of the gadgets she uses. But she also has a selfie stick and a tripod. She is a real professional in making biking selfies. Would you handle a selfie stick while waiting at the traffic light?
But i have to admit i envy her. Would like to have the time and money to do this trip myself.

At least people at TV are talking about her trip. Publicity and many people looking at her pictures and talking about it, isnt that what she wants? I am sure she is enjoying it.
But if she has a guide she isnt exactly riding alone. And maybe some equipment waited for her, fresh clothes and new lipstick for example

Simply vile racism, wouldn't get away with it in Europe. I boycot these places, there are plenty of other things to do - as well as other countries in SEA that are starting to look more attractive.
I wouldnt call it racism, but discrimination fits perfectly.

It's a known issue with the nuovo that the rubber indicator supports deteriorate.
Had the same problem, and I think they want something like 1000 Baht for 2 supports, so I ended up modifying the indicators and fitting them straight to the fender.
Yep, this is a well known problem on the Nouvo Elegance (older carb model). The rubber part of the rear indicators get brittle and break. Iirr you can only buy the whole indicator, not the rubber part alone, so expensive to fix. 500 Baht seems to be the correct price for one complete flasher assy, left or right. 1000 for both

Any place which affects me in regard to illegal double pricing i simply just dont enter.
Agree. Usually i give a damn about it and do not enter. But in this case i am really annoyed. I am visiting Khao Yai for years now and i spent a lot of money for renting rooms there. I never said a word about their substandard rooms they rent to visitors for high prices. I never said a word when there was no gas for heating the water in winter so that i had to take some very cold showers morning and evening. I know they dont have that much money and so i accepted it. But i will not accept an entry fee that is 10 times higher as for thai people. Thats some form of discrimination.
-
This is simply outrageous.
I would be interested in knowing what kind of reasoning there is behind such a move, apart from the obvious "Farang have money, help Thailand".
I think I will use that number for complaints for the first time (1111).
So sad..., goodbye Khao Yai
So did i today. Bye, Khao Yai. As they insisted on getting full price i turned around and rode 100km detour to get back to Bangkok from the nothern entry of Khao Yai. I will not pay full price. I already pay my tax every month.
-
Found this at http://wikitravel.org/en/Khao_Yai_National_Park :
Adults: 400 baht (2015 fees). Note: In the past foreigners living in Thailand were able to enter for the Thai Residents fee if showing a Thai work permit, driving license or student card. However, from March 2015 these documents are no longer accepted, only a true Thai ID Card or Thai Passport allows one to enter for the Thai Resident fee.
So it seems to be true what they told me. Very sad. Unacceptable for me!

Sorry, i should have put on my reading glasses. Of course there already is a happy owner as Nickymaster correctly stated two posts above.
