Scams R uz...eh..week or 2 ago...  Police in Pattaya are hunting for a 49 year old real estate agent, name removed to protect..., who is alleged to have scammed both Thai and Foreigner Residents in a 45 Million baht property scam. .....etc

Both khun wife and I have already had our invitation to receive our vaccinations courtesy of the NHS...in North London...which is most appreciated...however rather a long way to go...

On a slightly different vein...no pun...many years ago when working in Saudi Arabia I needed to get a couple of injections including the dreaded Yellow Fever scrape and they were arranged and carried out at the ...yes..the UK Embassy...so a precedence set....The jolly good old days...what...

Yes reported in Feb..at the Prom...requested..GPS...house location..said it was a new requirement...No problem wife had a new 5 G...Only needed form and PP...so.. all of 5 minutes..in and out ..All very polite and helpfull..krup..

Ireland is part of the CTA...Common Travel Area so Irish passport holders come under and have the same "authorisation".... "rights" as the uk Nations (Scotland,England,Northern Ireland and Wales).as well as the ..Isle of Man and the Balliwicks. plus a few others.. However if Flying in from Thailand and Not via a red stop/transit...then you still have to self Isolate either at home or in a packaged hotel..however...it varies between the "home "Nations"...check them out...changes almost on a daily basis..

Just giving them a try...Usually Khun wife when returning from travels...brings back loads of different types from the hotels we visit in UK/EU...complimentary at the breakfast..tables.help yourself...she takes that literally..PG tips...Tetley...Yorkshire ..Fairtrade...Typhoo..Twinings..Scottish blend...flavours .Oolong..Assam,Earl Grey, Dargeeling ..dont go for the "erbals"..or greens...just the everyday...normals..Sometimes  add milk others best with lemon or limes...No sugar ever..Get the kettle on....thirsty work...

Coffee in 7/11 is disg.....g... how ever after a night in Town dont mind the odd cheese and ham..toastie... Just had an email from my Local Health Authority in North London inviting me for my second ...dose../Jab...of the Vax...next week.. Really appreciate their enthusiasm however since I havnt had the first one yet and am still in CM...since last May...will have to sadly decline..Wife was speaking to her Thai friends over there (in the smoke)and they have all been done...good old NHS...mai pen etc..eh

Just a reminder as many of us use Emirates and Etihad - they fly through their hubs in the UAE. The UAE is currently in the red zone so if you fly with them you will have to quarantine at a hotel.

The "get out of jail card" is available in self Isolating Hotels. Many in London are offering 5 and 10 day packages...including airport pickup..meals and booze...check the internet..including a free 6th night while you wait for your results...@ 650 quid..

From Thailand .to uk...avoid any "red " countries.. just book a hotel from 29 quid a night ..and sit tight for 10 days..Order a local PCR kit x 2...also bung the porters/conciege to deliver a daily case of beer ...bucket of KFC..and a loaf of bread..Time will fly in..and you will have complied with the Law..yes

"cater to the locals"..chai...Small shop with a couple of tables outside.in the boonies 40 K outside CM..and apart from me with my beer Chang and Ice..every night...99 per cent customers are locals.. They still buy Beer.. ..whisky..crisps...soap..toothbrushes.cooking oils.....and others..so while our prices are "competative"...Good nights takings...not profit..can be 7..9.K   normal 3...5 but so what.. Works out over a year .@ 6 x 50....300.000  bt...better than..."nuff-Ing"...ya..what....Retired..

Prom only does 90 Reports ..Extensions are from /processed at Airport Immigration. I asked the guys last year and they confirmed said...

"Always expect the unexpected"...Did  my latest 90 report at the Prom this week..and now appears that you have to Provide your GPS house location on the TM47.. Not a problem since khun wife has a new smart 5 g and with the immigration officers assistance quickly located it on google. Only needed said TM and passport... "in and out" in a couple of minutes. Always find Prom so easy...parking...update BB books/accounts...coffee in Chi Ching...look into "lin-ping" buy some electrical stuff in Mr DIY... quiet and unrushed...nice..

Had a "scotch egg" and a pint or 2 in  ..Red Lion about 2 weeks ago..always ok although ..wee bit quiet but sanuk...Only get into CM usually once a month but always go for a chat..Mabe try for next weekend ..now that hours have changed....Sad about the Dun 2 wan..but will be back soon..but one must be positive ..chai..
